According to the Lord, if I should look at a pretty skirt, and my heart should skip a beat, I am then guilty of adultery. I therefore also recognize not being sin free.

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Did you heart skip a beat because you thought about having sex with her, or skip a beat because she as a pretty woman and oyu thanked God he made her that way?

It is possible for you to learn to appreciate God' creations without having lust in your heart.

I agree with what you say except the part about the pharisees obeying the letter, they twisted the letter to their own desire.

they said one could lie if they swore on the sacrifice on the alter but not if one swore on the altar itself type thing, now apply this to every letter of the Law and you have pharisee doctrine.

Mat 15:3-9, “But He answering, said to them, “Why do you also transgress the command of YHWH because of your tradition? For YHWH has commanded, saying, ‘Respect your father and your mother,’ ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me has been dedicated, is certainly released from respecting his father or mother.’ So you have nullified the command of YHWH by your tradition."Hypocrites! Well did Isayah (29:13-14*) prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

we cant keep stating falsehood to "disprove" YHWH's Law when it was men twisting it.

You keep misinterpreting what I say, and failing to understand what I am trying to get through. The only people in Jesus day who could say they were more MORAL than the Pharisee according to the law would have been laughed out of the room. Jesus even re-iterated by saying if we wanted hope by our own power, We would have to be BETTER LAW KEEPERS THAN THE PHARISEE.

No one kept the law to the letter. ONLY CHRIST DID. But when it came to examples of who obeyed the letter. No one did it better than the Pharisee. And I am sorry my friend, I will even include you in that case. If you could keep it better than the Pharisee, You exceeded their righteousness, and by Jesus own words, you would stop needing grace.

That is the point.

Jesus did not say stop sin, His message was change your heart, and let me come into you, and sins will stop

The Jesus's message for sinners, go, and sin no more KJVJohn8:11 11. "She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee:go, and sin no more."

Notice the sequence of events.

1. Jesus forgave her, (he did not say stop sin first and I will save you, show me you really want to be saved by stopping your sin)
2. Now that your forgiven, Go and do not live in that sin anymore (the one she was convicted of)

What he also did not say. If you do mess up and do it again, You will lose your forgiveness.

I wasn't thinking about what God had made. Nor was I thinking about having sex, but a pretty figure automatically triggers a sexual impulse, and so according to the scripture I posted, would constitute adultery.

Yes, if this happens you would be right, it would constitute adultery and you have sinned, but this is your issue, not every mans issue.

Ok, this will sting, but it is truth, you do not automatically trigger a sexual impulse, the devil does not make you have that automatic impulse, you let yourself trigger that impulse, because you have not taken it captive to the obedience of Christ.

Do you understand that you can use the word of God to keep from seeing a pretty figure and automatically allowing your mind to trigger a sexual impulse when seeing that pretty figure?

When I had the same issue you describe you have, a spiritual mentor/accountability partner and I talked. He gave me the below scripture and I meditated , memorized and ate this passage for 60 days. On day 61 I could look at a woman with a pretty figure and not automatically trigger an sexual impulse. That was over 15 years ago. If I slip up today, I ask forgiveness and quote this verse to myself and seek the Spirit's guidance and examine myself on why I slipped up and where I need to tighten the armor at and which doors to close again.

This is how we gain victory over sin in our life and exactly how the Bible teaches us how to do to it.

1 Thess 4:4-8

4 Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. [SUP]2 [/SUP]For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; [SUP]4 [/SUP]that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, [SUP]5 [/SUP]not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; [SUP]6 [/SUP]and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification. [SUP]8 [/SUP]So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you.

Notice verse 7, no excuses now in the kingdom and no excuses at judgement. You are either a new man or you are not.

Give it a go bro.

I wonder; have you ever cursed someone in traffic, because they did something stupid?
I have, and according to the Lord, it is sin which can land me in hell (Matthew 5:22).

Matthew 5:22 [FONT=&quot]But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.[/FONT]

Let's look at Matthew 5:21-26 in context

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ [SUP]22 [/SUP]But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. [SUP]23 [/SUP]Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, [SUP]24 [/SUP]leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.

The New Covenant brought us out of this, right?

Why are you applying yourself to the standards of the law? You are not under the law, so this does not apply to you and is fulfilled by the Law of Love

I have gotten upset at people in traffic, but I am not going to hell for it, I ask forgiveness and move on, grace does this, not the law.

How many excuses do you make to not walk in newness of Life Jesus gave you to have and have now?
