Jif PB no doubt. I was a young mom in the 80's and remember that slogan, "Choosy Moms choose Jif."

I think Mandela Effect was made possible via internet/TV. Think of the enormous amount of data! Collectively we drive products, advertising, you name it, by purchase and adding content to the net. Even politicians tailor their ads to appear to give the people what they want, from analyzing data collected off the web forums.

The reason it's called Mandela Effect, to me is a great indicator of how the dominos got set up to begin with. Just my .02. :)

I think it was "This". We didn't watch him much tho,(my children didn't care for it) so I can't say absolutely.

I don't have the greatest of memories. One thing is a given, "how susceptible people are to suggestion", I include myself in that. We are, as a rule fairly naïve, much more than we'd like to admit, more easily deceived than we'd like to admit. The Bible says satan deceives the whole world. The Bible says words are powerful, maybe because words convey truth or lies, can build up or tear down.

Thanks for your comment, it triggered a memory. My son mentioned this rumor to me back around 2000, when he joined the Marines. Lot of people believe it is fact, it is not. See, we hear or read something and just believe it without researching. There's no way to verify every piece of information we are exposed to, there is not enough hours in a day.

There is a long standing rumor that children's television host Fred Rogers of Mr. Rogers
Neighborhood was a Marine sniper who racked up a record number of confirmed kills (and wore his famous sweater to hide "Born to Kill" tattoos). This is simply not true. Fred Rogers never served in any of the armed forces.

And I've never seen this pic. I've only seen the one where only the connolly's are in the front with the driver..:confused:

I looked that up on Snopes quite a while back, and it says that's false. I don't think he was ever in the military.

I also heard a story about how Lee Marvin once talked about the bravest marine he ever saw... helping other soldiers without worry for his own safety on a beachhead... that was Capitan Kangaroo... That was also said to be false by Snopes.
