What is theory that you had in mind because I wasn't going to talk about a theory to begin with. I hadn't even planned on asking the Apple computer question until oldethnew mentioned phones and the notion popped in my head because of the recent I-Phone x commercial. I simply asked if anyone has noticed quite a few hexagons on TV, in movies, products and advertising?
What did God do to the coverings of fig leaves the man and the woman had made? What did He say to them, and to the Serpent, and what did He promise? Why did Adam at this point name the woman, and why did he choose the name he did, and why did that choice make God say "Behold!!"?
There may be an enormous amount of indescribably profound things in the text of Genesis 3 that have absolutely nothing to do with tallying bananas, that you are unaware of, if you think I meant to say Gen. 4

So who was the type for Jesus Christ? I understand that innocent blood was shed in Genesis 3 just as it was Genesis 4 (Abel being the type) but when I originally brought up Genesis 37 I had a person in mind as far as the typology I was referring to. I guess I don't understand why you were so quick to downplay the significance of Genesis 37 just because of the number.

we recently learned that our 'very dear friends', who have been married for decades and
have adopted their daughter over 20yrs. ago, have bought her a phone that cost over a thousand $.,
just to replace the one that she told them wouldn't be good enough to get her through her
college courses...plus, they are paying ALL of her expenses, apt. food. ETC...
plus a mega car...and no, by today's standards, they would not be considered 'rich'...
no 'job, responsibility required, because they are afraid that they will, 'lose' her,
if they don't 'step-up'...she is so 'rotten' that you can smell her!!!...
yes, we do know that it is not her fault, but, by our own experience, we do know that she will
definitely reap what she sows. just like we did in own ways and mistakes...
the grief that we feel for the family is 'beyond belief'...
for the parents 'hate each other'...

I met my fairly wealthy father for the first time when I was 17, and he continually tried to buy his way back into my life till the day he died six years ago. Some people only know $ as a way to relate. And I must have told him umpteen times that I really only ever wanted my Daddy. He never understood.

Jesus Christ is on every page of the scripture, on every roll of the scroll. There are a thousands of types of Him in the Tanakh, and Joseph's prophetic dream of his family bowing to him is hardly the most profound, imho. That's all.
