They probably, most anyway, lovd you unconditionally.
My first little girl, a jack russell, had a liver ailment to which she succumbed after three plus years. She was old and already ill when I adopted her.
I have adopted danother who is wonderful. I believe she is jack russell and chihuahua. Anyway, my question is what kind of foods should I not feed her. For now she is just having dry, some moistened at midday then dry the rest. Ädn I give her brand name treats.
She had horrible breath when I got her, but her caretakers had been givig her dry food for toy dogs. I upped the size so her teeth would crunch them a bit and so far it seems to have cleaned her teeth well. Her breath is normal doggy breath and she stopped passing gas all the time Actually she stopped altogether, and that is quite a relief for all concerned.
She is five, frisky and very smart. She went from shaking and hiding to taking over everything in the houe and me in about three weeks. I have now had her three months.
Any suggestions ae very welcome. I do not want this one to suffer any dietary related ailments. My heart still aches when I think of dear Ella. God bless you for caring.
I took care of so many sick animals. It really is draining
