Absolutely! I believe that it doesn't matter how you dress as long as your faith in God is real. I'll refer you to a passage from 1 Peter 3:3-4:

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." (NIV)

I have a girlfriend who is a Goth dresser and still loves God with every inch of her and prays to Him all the time. If that ain't enough... :)
 
I used to be Emo haha well...sorta still dress like it from time to time. But yes, definitely you can be a Christian and Emo. (=
Or even Goth or whatever else.

What is EMO???????

hahha I kinda get that it is a style of dress?? (dressing) but please explain??? and btw.....I feel how you express yourself in dress isn't always a reflection of how deeply your beleif system is. So certainly you may dress goth or EMO (whatever that is!!! :) ) and still have love for Jesus!!!
 
Can someone clear up my ignorance...I thought "emo" was like a depressed person... How can you be depressed if you're living for the most awesome King?
 
wait what??? emo are u talking bout cuz 2 meh and everone i know Emo-is when someone is so depressed they start 2 cute them sef 2 deal with the pain. But idt thats wat ur talking about cuz it seems like goth cuz thats when u wear all black and stuff and 2 meh its wrong becuz thats like an early stage of emo and thats horribe and very very hard 2 stop belive meh i now sencond hand. and going goth is also how my fwend started 2 the next step and just went all the way 2 emo

notice the clothes...they're normal. everyone just wore normal t-shirts and jeans or whatever. this is a few years before some record company executive decided it was a good idea to make an "emo" fashion style as well. thats about the time real emo died...early 2000s.

and yeah, there were emo bands put together by christians, as well.
