Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is rejecting the Spirit's call for you to accept Jesus as your savior.I thought blaspheming the Holy Spirit was saying Jesus did his miracles by the power of the devil and not of God.

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is rejecting the Spirit's call for you to accept Jesus as your savior.
you're on the right track but blaspheming the holy spirit is when you accept it then reject it,as in pretty much you don't appreciate the gift of the holy spirit and so seek to be rid of the holy spirit, which is why it is the one unforgivable sin because you in a sense are rejecting your own life,as well as God at the same time as well as Jesus's dieing for your sins and the gift of the holy spirit,it's not something as "easy" as people think it's not as simple as cursing God and then God no longer forgives you,it's much more than that,it's a matter of seeking God willingly, and accepting all that Jesus did thereby accepting the holy spirit but there after having a hatred for God so much that you are not only willing to blaspheme his name but you don't want to live anymore,it's very rare,it's not something you just do,you'd have to be furious with God and determined to go against him,it's not something as simple as lieing about Jesus.I thought blaspheming the Holy Spirit was saying Jesus did his miracles by the power of the devil and not of God.

Yes, Because you have rejected the spirits doctrine.. Another way of saying is you have dissented by the doctrine the HS has been sent to convict the world of. And replaced it with some other “truth” which is not Gods truth, concerning the gospelBlaspheming the Holy Spirit is rejecting the Spirit's call for you to accept Jesus as your savior.
Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is rejecting the Spirit's call for you to accept Jesus as your savior. Rejecting Jesus is the only sin never forgiven. Thus leaving you under the penalty of the law.I thought blaspheming the Holy Spirit was saying Jesus did his miracles by the power of the devil and not of God.

Here I post this again. The law of God. Sin is transgression of the law. Without the law we don't know what sin is!!!! Read especially the bold part.Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is rejecting the Spirit's call for you to accept Jesus as your savior. Rejecting Jesus is the only sin never forgiven. What law?
Mathew 5 NIV
Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
The Fulfillment of the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth dissappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
anytime,if there are 3 things I know about they are baptism, salvation, and what is blaspheming the holy spirit and what isn't.Ok, thank you
Can this is happen to a person already saved?
ROTFLMAOanytime,if there are 3 things I know about they are baptism, salvation, and what is blaspheming the holy spirit and what isn't.

The Mosaic law was never applied to the gentiles. Romans 2:14 says as much.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves
No, because they have already accepted what the HS spoke of about thge gospel as truth. And recieved it in faith after repenting. And were born again, Given the spirit, and have actually experienced first hand the love of God.
A person saved will not change his mind again and go to a different gospel that has no power.
notice, The Pharisee actually did thge actual sin, By claiming Jesus did his work by the power of satan (attributing the work of the HS to satan) Yet jesus said they were in danger, because we all have until our death two repent, and recieve thge gospel of truth. I am sure a few where where there did just that.

Did Peter lack faith in God, or in his circumstance?
I think there is a huge difference there. Also note. Jesus did not ask him to repent. He knew peters heart.
I agree that He did not ask peter to repent because He knew what was in peters heart, so He knew peter had already repented/returned. In fact, Jesus had already prophesied this when He said: when you return....
So in a sense are you saying that you can accept the HS then reject him.
So you receive the HS then seek to rid him from you.
