Now you need to elaborate on that statement because as is you contradict the Lord who states:

Revelation 3

1And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 6He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Now you can share the Truth that a person will be saved by Grace through Faith.. unto good works ordained by GOD and share where a person can build their house according to the Lord:

Matthew 7

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Which is to Believe...

but without elaborating your statement is misleading... just how you started the thread with a verse to suit you continue Theron.. you are not teaching the Truth if you have yet to believe it for yourself.

i bid all to Believe neither you or myself but the Word of GOD.

Go through to Revelation and put your beliefs against the Lord’s warnings and encouragement to believers.. everyone of us should be able to hear...

But DC you are not greater than the Lord who gave those warnings.. and if the Lord attaches perfect works to a believer being worthy and not to be blotted our then stand downand take heed soldier.
Hi loveme

I hope you don't mind my interjecting a thought here.

In battle against lying spirits, are you going to be helped by warnings? Or by the Promises?

For one who belongs to the Lord, yet has some kind of temptation tripping that one up, the reason is always the same. That is idolatry in one form or another.

Do we have other desires above the will of God for our life? I would say we all have this kind of trial. Are warnings going to help? Or will it be comfort and edification to being empowered to overcome?

We all read the warnings I'm sure. But if that is all you have to give?

For you all from other Countries, that have always thought Americans were all a bit on the crazy side; here is a video clip of a TV Show from the 70's and 80's that Laish remind of. It was a very popular show, so it should remove all doubts that we were Crazy.

Most of them have already gone to be with the Lord, so when we get there, we can all share in the laughs.

Psalm 126:2-3 (CSBBible)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Our mouths were filled with laughter then,
and our tongues with shouts of joy.
Then they said among the nations,
"The LORD has done great things for them."

[SUP]3 [/SUP] The LORD had done great things for us;
we were joyful.

I wonder how many wonderful works the workers for have done today to keep themselves saved.......the answer would be....NOT enough or never enough.....

For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.....

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save the that believe.

Here's one for VCO........:)

'In the Garden' Written by: C. Austin Miles
According to some polls “In the Garden” is popular abroad, as well as in the United States. More than a million recordings and printed copies of it have been sold. It is virtually impossible to pick up a standard hymnal and find it omitted.

Charles Austin Miles was an American writer of gospel songs. He studied at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and the University of Pennsylvania. In 1892, he ceased to practice as a pharmacist. His first gospel song was "In the Garden"

Verse 1
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses.
And the voice I hear Falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
Chorus
And He walks with me and He talks with
me
And He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known.
Verse 2
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing
And the melody, that He gave to me,
Within my heart is ringing.
Chorus
Verse 3
I’d stay in the garden with Him,
Though the night around me be falling
But He bids me go, through the voice of
woe,
His voice to me is calling.
Chorus

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save the(m) that believe.
The only thing that will keep a person saved is their present believing. It is through our believing that we first received the promise, and it is through that same unceasing believing that we are kept to the very end.

The promise is for those who presently believe, not for those who never believed, or those who stop believing and fall away back to the world. Even traditional Calvinism, as misguided as it is, teaches that if you don't believe to the very end as evidenced by a lifestyle of obedience you are not saved.

That is what the Lord gave Stones.. I think the Lord knows best how to talk to Believers.. it shows how much He cares to give us the Truth and consequence.. GOD always gives us it straight.. Considering the danger we should take heed.

Saved unto good works.. so Believers are to follow their Lord each and every day.. whom else would they follow after being saved by their Good Shepherd.. but there is no boast.. ever... that we agree on... only Love and Gratitude..
