To use that as security will lead those who do it into a works state of life.
It's based on performance. It's a subtle lie that will keep what you do or don't do as a qualifier
Can you manifest God in you by murdering someone?
Can you manifest God in you by giving them a ride to the grocery store?

It is simple.

Not led of the Spirit, you sinneth.

Led of the Spirit, you no sinneth.

Every time we sin,or hold unto sin,we are not led of the Spirit, and only a person led of the Spirit is saved.

We are in a wrong position when we sin,or hold unto sin, until we get rid of it,and not want it,and mean it.

The trouble is many hold unto sin thinking they are alright with God,but then that means they are not led of the Spirit, but of the flesh.

Which the Bible says,God is not mocked, for whatever a person sows, that shall they reap, and tells the saints do not be deceived.

If a person hates sin,and does not want sin,by the Spirit they can abstain from sin,for the Spirit will lead a person with that attitude, but if they believe that sin does not affect their relationship with God is that the right attitude, and will they have a desire to give up sin,or hold unto it and believe they are alright with God.

For that is a silly thing to say that they cannot abstain from sin,for by the Spirit we can abstain from sin,so why do they say it.

Is it because they really want to sin enjoying their wants, and fleshy pleasures, and worldliness, and money, and material things, and believe they are right with God.

For I would like to know why they believe those things because we sin because we want to sin,not because we cannot abstain from sin,and even the world can abstain from sin,as they choose what sins they like, and which ones they do not like.

Why would they say they cannot abstain from sin when we can have the Holy Spirit.

What determines if one is obedient or not?

Is a religious person who obeys Gods commands, and follows all these religious works. Yet does not Know Christ in a personal relationship obedient or disobedient?

Jesus said they did all these works in Jesus name. Was Jesus lieing or not?
Was their "iniquity" done in Jesus' name?

And that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Salvation through faith in JESUS

Psalm 49:13-14 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. Selah Like sheep they are destined for the grave, and death will feed on them. The upright will rule over them in the morning; their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

2 Timothy 3

3
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

does "having the Holy Spirit" = you on puppet strings, with no choice but to be the very finger of God on earth, in your flesh, 24/7 ?

yes! it is written:

If you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build it of cut stones, for if you wield your tool on it, you will profane it. And you shall not go up by steps to My altar, so that your nakedness will not be exposed on it.
(Exodus 20:25-26)

do not think to put our tools to it; we will profane it. do not raise it up on steps; our shame will be exposed.

we, as lively stones, being built

the law of the altar is given right after the decalogue - why? because keeping them is impossible for man, and Yah knows this: it's the reason He gave the Law! it shows us we need salvation, so He provides salvation: the altar is Christ, the sacrifice is Christ, salvation is Christ. do not put gold and silver on the salvation of the Lord of Hosts. put no tool to the salvation of Yah, as though you can build it. do not set Yah's salvation on steps and levels, as though you can reach it! believe God; the just live by faith: His altar shall be of earth: of dust. we, His temple

It is not impossible to Love GOD and each other when we are born again of the Holy Spirit.

I believe GOD... and the law shows us we are guilty and condemned needing to be saved and made new inwardly... Forgiven and Reconciled by A Gracious GOD through His Son’s suffering as the ultimate act of Love toward us.

The Just shall live by Faith in Christ as obedient Children by the power of GOD. Set apart.. Spirit over flesh.. because the Lord was Victorious for us all that Believe.

Set your heart to believe and obey GOD through His Son’s Testimony. Build your house there.

We know good and evil and now through Faith in Christ we are permitted after choosing good to eat of the Tree of life.

Probably from just scanning your post, for which I apologize. I saw Levitical priesthood, and my eyes rolled back in my head. Please forgive?

Was just a bit tired of religious writings and I don't really know you yet.
whew,

I thought you were replying to something I actually said. That's a big relief for me. Thanks for letting me know. I'm kinda new to the forum world and as such am not really sure about the protocol.

You have a great day :)

Every sin will cause your name to be erased from the book of life. (Rev 20:12, 15)
Good luck with that one in light of the out bounding grace of God......^^^^^^^^^^^^the above is not from God and totally denies the fact that Christ has taken our sin, every sin, and his righteousness has been imputed by faith.......

Peter didn't have the Holy Ghost till the day of Pentecost.
And salvation isn't assured till the day of the final judgement.

Hence the need for rebirth.
Even before that, though, men yearn to know God, and search for the things of God.
Cornelius the centurion is a good example of that.

Yet, Peter was still a "natural" man.

Let's be clear about what my "view" is...
I believe we can obey God all the time.
I believe that God has made a way for us to remain faithful and without offense.
If you argue against those two points, you infer that you don't believe God has the power to do this.
Yeah....your overall view is full of holes, error and man made dogma.......and denies many truths applied unto believers and unbelievers alike.....

Those walking in darkness have neither fellowship with God nor hope of salvation at the final judgement seat of God.
Proverbs 4:19 defines "darkness" this way..."The way of the wicked is as darkness:"
Darkness is sin.
The bolded is false.......and the context is believers maintaining fellowship not salvation......more error in your dogma
