It is his perpetual pointing to an exalting man whilst making the things of Christ common. Now it's the Garden of Gethsemane experience.
And I wouldn't expect anything less or anything more from his man-centered gospel. Its all up to him whether he stays saved or not. God just sits idly by and watches his life pass before him.

Mat 5:48, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

“perfect” is word #5046 – teleios: having reached its end, i.e. complete, by ext. perfect, Original Word: τέλειος, α, ον, Part of Speech: Adjective, Transliteration: teleios, Phonetic Spelling: (tel'-i-os), Short Definition: perfect, full-grown, Definition: perfect, (a) complete in all its parts, (b) full grown, of full age, (c) specially of the completeness of Christian character.

Genesis 17:1, “And it came to be when Aḇram was ninety-nine years old, that יהוה appeared to Aḇram and said to him, “I am Strength Almighty – walk before Me and be perfect.”

“perfect” is word #H8549 תָּמִים tamiym (taw-meem') adj., 1. (literally, figuratively or morally) entire., 2. (also, as noun) integrity, truth., [from H8552], KJV: without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright(-ly), whole. , Root(s): H8552

Psalms 119:1, “Blessed are the perfect in the way, Who walk in the Torah of יהוה!”

1 John 2:5, But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.”

1 Peter/Kepha 1:13-21, "Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the undeserved pardon that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yahshua Messiah. As obedient children, do not conform to the former lusts you had when you lived in ignorance; But as He Who called you is holy, so you also become holy in all your conduct; Because it is written Be holy, for I am holy. And if you call on the Father, Who, without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence; Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your forefathers; But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you; Who through Him we do believe in YHWH, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in YHWH."

“holy” is word #G40 ἅγιος hagios (ha'-ǰiy-os) adj., 1. holy (set apart by Yahweh God unto himself and apart from the world)., 2. (of a person) a holy one., 3. (physically or ceremonially) clean., 4. (morally) blameless., 5. (Note #1) Most explicitly, this is not “a saint” (compare G2413), which denotes a personal, continual lifelong effort to attain such a stature and position of recognized character, along with a formal recognition by the Roman Catholic Church (and variants) and all its stipulations. In fact, Holiness is intrinsic to Yahweh alone, and He works it in those who fear Him and diligently choose to cooperate with Him and His workings. Though one may indeed act upon his command to be holy, he alone can ascribe one as Holy., 6. (Note #2) Most especially, the Redeemed Kinsmen through trust in Jesus Anointed are indeed the holy ones of Yahweh God, with Jesus himself being the Holy One of God (and we ourselves, his redeemed brothers)., [from hagos “an awful thing”], KJV: (most) holy (one, thing), saint , Compare: G53, G2413, G3741 , See also: H6918

1 Peter 1:13-16, “Therefore, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, set your expectation perfectly upon the favor that is to be brought to you at the revelation of יהושע Messiah, as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance, instead, as the One who called you is set-apart, so you also should become set-apart in all behavior, because it has been written, “Be set-apart, for I am set-apart.”

It made sense relative to the poster I responded to.

Not after receiving the Holy Ghost, he didn't.

Salvation won't be assured till after the final judgement.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint.
Peter's new life didn't start till he was "quickened" by the Holy Ghost.

You need to look up "converted" in a dictionary.

Jesus din't fail.
Enoch didn't fail.
There is no record of Silas, Timothy, Lydia, James, Philip, Stephen, Stephanas, Fortunatus, Achaicus, Aquila, Priscilla, Titus, Luke, Tychicus, Epaphras, Archippus, Eubulus, Onesiphorus, Pudens, Linus, Claudia, or the centurion ever sinning.

You seem to look at the alleged unrighteous for your examples.
You are making a gave mistake.

Aren't you glad the OT is over?
I wish you knew the freedom of life in Christ, life without service to sin.
The only mistake I am making is to actually respond to your foolishness....

Daniel had the days of atonement for his sins.
According to the "sin won't keep you out of heaven" crowd, only the sacrificial animals enjoyed a better life after Jesus' resurrection.
Thank God for the rebirth...of Godly seed that CANNOT bring forth evil fruit.
If sin keeps one out of heaven they have not trusted into JESUS who paid for sin already.....good luck with your cracker jack theology....I suggest you trust JESUS...he is the atoning sacrifice for sin....

Do you have faith in this..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Cor 10:13)?
Wouldn't "looking for the escapes" be counted as proof of our faith and impending salvation?
There is noting impending about salvation...you either possess it by faith now or your not saved

Perfect does not mean what our modern usage of perfect means......the bolded is exactly what it meant to a 1st Century believer.....

NO ONE in the flesh saved or lost is perfect in the modern sense of the word!

The believing we're talking about here is your trust in the blood of Christ for justification, not your trust in God for daily provision within your saving relationship with God. Can you see the difference?

The believing that you can not lose and still be saved is your trust in the blood of Christ to forgive your sin. If you stop that believing and return to the world in unbelief of Christ's sacrifice you no longer have any sacrifice remaining to forgive your sin from that point onward. You have nothing to look forward to but the wrath of God for his enemies at the final Judgment. Since you don't believe in Christ's blood anymore to forgive you you don't have that blood to keep you blameless until the last day.
Hmm...no I don't think I see the difference...
Not sure I can explain my mind here but..if I trust Him that I am forgiven and will live forever, but then don't trust Him that I don't have to worry about provision, this makes me a liar. I am saying I trust Him for eternal life while also not trusting Him for a comparatively smaller miracle?

When He points out this insane discrepancy or fracture to me, a struggle begins and a growth in trust results in the end.

This is how He grows my faith, by pointing my mistrust out to me and bringing me to the struggle. This is what my race of continued and growing trust has looked like, though He gives me breaks too. :)

This is beneath you peter. Way beneath you. His account was hacked and you know that. And WHY would you post trash and cursing and not give WARNING about what someone will see when they click those links? Why would you do that to someone??
AMEN.....and it utterly sickened me as well.....slander and defamation of character just to make one look bad and one look good.....I hope he gets what the other guy got.............

I know I fire on all who disagree with me and sometimes with heated rhetoric, but I would never post false, hacked lies to make one look bad......

I do believe he has broken the rules......

If that's true then there's no hope for any of us, including you my friend.

I have never come across a believer who thinks grace is a "license to sin". That may be the thought of the world, but not the thought of a new creature in Christ.
AMEN I agree.......

You're of the same ilk of those false accusers mentioned in Romans 3:8. Through the same misunderstanding and rejection of the true Gospel, you slander others with false accusations in ignorance. (If it is perhaps ignorance)
Amen brother.....no one I know pushes a license to sin.......
