OMGosh!!!! You guys arent going to believe this... I can't believe it either!

After all the talk on here about my poor dead tablet, I decided to pull it out of the drawer its been sitting in for over a year and give it one last try...

and I was able to get to the custom boot screen and reset it to factory defaults!!! :D :D :D

I thought the battery would be completely dead too, but its charging! :D :D :D

Its like a brand new tablet! It feels like a miracle! :D

I named it Charlotte.

Glad to hear...so does it work (boot to android lock screen?) or is it just charging....sorry if this comes across as a dumb question but I have had tablets "rewake" only to be charging and then boot to the nan-droid (android with belly gears) screen and just sit in a bootloop aka restart and always end up on nan-droid screen....I'd like to know if it fully came back on and is functioning again like it should...if so that's awesome! be sure to back up the rom if it's working this time so you can have it on SD card in case it fails again....it's a good safety option to have if sammy decides to go dark again....

Its fully functioning :) I even updated it last night.

I want to say that this tablet means much more to me than just another device....

It's a reminder of when my dad was still around... I used to bring it along when my parent's and I went out to eat, and when my dad got sick it kept me company for many long hours in hospital waiting rooms....

I seriously felt like crying when it "died" (because I tried to jailbreak it for being agonizingly slow). It was like I had lost a momento of those last precious times with my dad. This is why I'm so elated that its working again. :)

I remember that feeling in grad school but try to enjoy it because one day you may just miss it. It took about 2 years but I actually missed studying and the academics of it all. I actually started writing a novel (I'm not a writer) which strangely helped. I think it was the research end of it.

ugh I need to stop posting in and stop even looking at a certain thread,otherwise I might collapse from stress(perhaps have a seizure since I have epilepsy) ,oh well back to work now,be back in about 7 -8 hours.

But the Bible Discussion Forum is starting to feel safer than the Singles Forum. :eek:

Either I've just stepped into The Twilight Zone, or I need serious prayer... and professional help.

Come to think of it... It's probably a combination of all three. :rolleyes:

Some threads are just a bad idea, and even a good idea can turn into a nightmare thread. I will say this to you here because I do not want to kindle any more flames in the other thread: I did miss that second quote. It still seems Kelly took some heat for something she did not say. I love both of you and hate to see negative or unkind things said about either one of you.
