I've noticed something odd about the trigger pull - when I am at home dry firing it the pull is almost stiff but still acceptable. But when I am at the range using ammunition the pull gets very hard. It's a real puzzlement.
Maybe this winter I'll send it in for a checkup. Unfortunately I have heard bad things about Taurus customer service and it may take months for them to get it back to me.
Yes, that is odd. Yours is the first one I've read about that has semi-serious trigger issues. Most reviews I've read on it seem to be either "the trigger is really nice" to " the trigger is just ok.. too short, etc..." I've never heard anyone talk about the trigger making it difficult to fire.
I have also heard some bad reports about slow turnaround with Taurus CS... but it is a problem they should correct.. waiting that long would not be fun, though.
I have heard about the Spectrum. It looks like it should be an ideal pocket-carry pistol for summer months. It appears to be much more rounded and snag-free than my TCP. If the trigger is the same in it as the TCP, I might have to try one out.
I haven't heard anything about the Sccy 380... but there are a lot of people that really like their 9mm's.... I need to check it out.
