The problem with this way of thinking, is sometimes it is the programmed who see everyone else
as being those who are brain-washed. How do you know which side of the fence you are on?
When you can openly see and understand both sides. The whole reason programming is dangerous
is it controls and dictates how people think and behave, without reference to things outside the
situation they are in. It often puts lots of meaning into groups and people that simple do not
exist.
So to say all people not like x are all y is clearly false. Having a certain point of view is a positive
thing, all one can say about others who disagree is that they do not hold this point of view, not
that it means they are all in another group.
So the mantra of one particular group is the world is legalistic, and they are the free ones.
It is close to the anachists charter, except it is clearly absurd as everyone forms groups and
groups work by rules, and rules define structure. So to even belong to a group is to accept
structure. What the argument is always about, is some pain or hurt that came about in their
past which is now balanced out with the hatred of people who seem similar to those they hate.
A common trait or sign of this going on, is when someone says, "You are like I was 20+ years
ago." This is a projection on a stranger without any substantial information.
And these individuals will tell you strongly, you should not believe you know what others think
and be condemning, while doing exactly that. But I wonder if they are honest enough to see
their own behaviour and words spoken, to see it is just blowing in the wind.
It is slightly amusing then their whole contribution is to repeat the same mantra, condemning
while claiming innocense. And I admit I do not know what pain or trauma they are running from,
just it is continuous and is expressed week in week out.

David defeated Goliath, because he trusted God had trained him is defeating mighty creatures,
lions and bears, and Goliath was equal to them.
He also knew God defended people who stood up and walked with Him and the Philistines were
Gods enemies. So He trusted God would be with him.
Now this is what David himself says and does. This is what faith is, believing God has a purpose
and a calling on our lives, and when the challenge is there to jump in.
In what you wrote it appears you do not believe God gives those who have faith the strength.
But it amazes me how in your theology, anything to do with life is not God. I begin to lose any
understanding of what you regard is of God, as you discount almost everything.

He gives them his faith as a work that works in them to both will and do His good pleasure..... His strength.
He did not give it to Goliath .Only to those who have been born again. Those who have not the Spirit of Christ simply if do not belong to Christ. . .

Offering dead works coming from a dead faith (a work of faith) like the man in Mathew 7 a worker of iniquity it only shows those who crucify Christ again and again every time they feel they have committed a wrong.
Can’t separate works from faith .Its why it’s called a work of faith (his) working in us . It both will and does that which was intended .
How do you understand the Hebrew 6 reference? Was the work of slaying Goliath accredited to David or the Spirit of Christ that lived in David?

here is an real-life example of judging correctly - when I moved into the house I now live in, my next door neighbor was a drunk. I can say that because I saw him drinking, smelled alcohol on his breath, watched him stumbling around, heard him with slurred speech.
now, if I see someone at a store buying a six-pack, I cannot call that person a drunk because there is not enough evidence to make a judgement. see the difference?

You have the southern kingdom (Judah) 1 Kings 8 and the northern kingdom (Ephraim) which went off into idolatry, they turned their back on TMH, so He was no long their God. They followed the customs of the nations where in which they were scattered. Those sheep that John is talking about are the northern kingdom.

Gentiles are not "lost cheep of Israel"
Gentiles are in biblical sense the other tribes of the area (Id est non Jewish tribes)
