Treason, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
I'm still stewing over what went down this morning. If either of my sisters were near and not 1000 miles away, they'd get the joy of taking care of their father and I'd be out of this house tonight. I'm well past tired of dealing with this grumpy old bastard, and well past tired of hearing all his deriding comments, listening to his football games turned up to rock concert volume, listening to him complain about every single thing I do or meal I cook or anything else.
Quote for the day: "Everybody knows what to do with a kicking mule... right up until he has one of his own."It would be far better for you to do something immediately to change the situation. Calling your father a bastard is the epitome of disrespect. I understand that he may deserve it, but still. Does he have enough money to hire full time caregivers? If not maybe a retirement home or a nursing home which ever suits, or better yet, move him to where one of the sisters live, and put him in a home there. It is not healthy to live in a stressful situation, for you or your dad. It might be difficult to get this done, but it will be worth it in the long run. I wish you both the best.
I thought MuseScore was online only, but it seems like I can download it. Trust that more than the Guitar pro, as I would never write anything for a guitar.... Last time I used MuseScore it was a bit difficult with changing time signatures but it might have changed since then. I also need the programme to handle up to 25 parts. I guess I just have to check it out. If it doesn't work, I have to sell my pride and get myself a Mac and Sibelius or Finale. It costs a fortune, though.I could have sworn Musescore was already Linux compatible. Check your repos. MIDI notation entry will require Jack set up though.
I'd be much more receptive to doing things for people if they would ASK me instead of simply assuming "Jon will take care of it". There's only so much the world can pile on me before I drop it all like a sack of rocks, stick both middle fingers in the air and walk away like there is a 1970's Funk soundtrack playing in my head.
