You have some of the most absurd and inapplicable illustrations I've ever seen. None of them ever prove a thing. Then to top that off, you also fallaciously interpret Scripture in the same way you use your invalid illustrations and arrive at similar false conclusions.

Oh, by the way, don't forget to seal your lasagna. Remember, according to you, a package of lasagna illustrates the sealing of the believer by the Holy Spirit. If we don't seal it correctly when it's in the fridge, it will get moldy and have to be thrown in the trash. Same with us.
As do all who think they must keep themselves saved...

No, that is exactly what it was about. You made the analogy and equated an improperly sealed package of lasagna in a fridge to the sealing of the believer by the Holy Spirit. That is a fact so stop denying it.
I remember reading that as well and will not post what I actually thought.....even though "ism" was attached to several words in my line of thought concerning the ignorance of such a comparison...what a devaluing insult to the GOD OF HEAVEN and His Most Holy Spirit!

I don't have to prove a thing you've proven it above. What you said is frankly blasphemous to the Spirit's sealing of the believer.
Amen.....there is not one verse which states it can be unsealed.....but it does say sealed UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.....again the self help gurus devalue the word and make God into a liar who cannot, yea does not, keep his word!

Yes, yes, I know.......I've lost my salvation because I don't believe and trust in Christ anymore, but instead I trust myself to stay saved. Oh wait......you say I can't lose my salvation. And I think you say I can't stop believing either..... These beliefs, they're so contradictory and confusing!

(Watch folks.....the 'judging' card is about to get played. Stick around, you'll see what I'm talking about...)
I think you need to step back to your original belief.....your gospel of self help guru salvation is corrupt from the root.............think about that for a moment and what it actually means.....similar to Galatians....faith plus anything = no gospel and no power!

Imagine a mortal undoing what God has wrought. It conveys perfectly what such a man thinks of God. And himself.
Makes God into an inept liar that cannot keep his promises and men have more power than God....the words everlasting life, sealed unto, kept by his power, never leave or forsake, saved to the uttermost, born of incorruptable seed, imputed righteousness of Christ, justified, sanctified eternally etc....have no meaning or are just smoke and mirrors......by his view that is!!

Back the truck up and put it in park... You are NOT seriously calling salvation, a "down payment"?!! Wowza..
Imagine the fallacy of that....not realizing that salvation is a one off event with eternal consequences......a present continuing result from a past completed action......

You can keep arguing that a born again believer can lose his/her salvation by a momentary lack of belief until the cow's come home, and who would believe your nonsense. Your Lasagna story sealed the deal for me, you are a false teacher.

Every time I read your post's I have to stand on my head to make any sense out of what you say. There is no truth in your words just lame stories and nonsense. It's time for you to stop teaching false doctrine and set up your workshop cooking Lasagna.

"And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life." 1John2:25

Amen I heard that......and agree.......

I never said you cannot lose your salvation or stop believing. I shared at some point Scripture teaches the elect who have believed the Gospel will not "stop believing" (which is your false take on 1 Corinthians 15:2) nor will they "lose salvation."

The fact remains that Romans 8:29-30, and the rest of the context of that portion of Scripture prove that a person in Christ has and will experience each phase of salvation, from foreknowledge to glorification. It, and frankly the Gospel itself, completely refute your errant gospel and position.

Neither belief, that one cannot lose salvation or stop believing are contradictory of one another. You're clearly wrong here and your point is nonsensical.

It appears you've already played it, and I'm out of suit.

The Bible does not say, As long as you keep believing. That must be in the PHart version of scripture.

It says we are given the pledge of. Our inheritance UNTIL the day of redemption. No where does it say only if we keep believing.

Yet again, You think you are stronger than God,, Then again, considering the examples you use (the car and the lasagna) it does not suprise me.
Yes indeed.....his skewed version....THE self help guru that must keep himself saved yet does not push a works based religion....to me it is idiotic that one can actually believe, acknowledge Jesus, be saved, sealed, justified, sanctified by God who gives eternal life and then negate all of God's power, promises and ability to FINISH AND COMPLETE the work of faith he began.......

A good reminder we must be Faithful.. for the adversary is in waiting...

ashamed of myself? ..
It does not say awe will lose faith.

Ashamed of thinking God does not already know what we will do. It humanists him, but if this is what you want to do.

What you are teaching is not the gospel and has been rejected down through the centuries as heresy, from Galatians 1:8-10 and forward.
Fully agree....it is a gospel.....a false guru self help psuedo gospel of a different kind with no power and double cursed.....

Their heresy absolutely rejects the truth that JESUS BEGINS, FINISHES AND COMPLETES THE GOOD WORK OF FAITH IN EVERYONE HE STARTS IT WITH.....it is not that difficult to see that their view makes this simple truth into a lie....THEY SAY that they can keep JESUS FROM FINISHING AND COMPLETING what he starts.....it is pure ignorance and false.

Excuse me Phart, I think you are a nice guy but you are spreading a false gospel. And I have been curious from the beginning about your screen name and avatar; the photo appears to be of the comedian Phil Hartman who was shot dead by his wife in Encino, California and your screen name appears to be an abbreviated spin off of Phil Hartman's name (PHart). And you expect everyone
here to believe what you are teaching on a world wide forum. Not me.

PHart

wow, I had to check it out, (never just take someone's word) I found the actual pic he is using in his avatar, So Phart is really a Canadian comedian, who was actually killed. Nice find..

If I remember right....he is the one who states he can lose or forfeit salvation....which makes his gospel false and having no power to begin with.....

God gave me the down payment that I have to have to secure the kingdom. How is that me trying to pay for it myself, lol?
How much do you owe seeing the wage for the least is eternal separation never to rise to new spirit life.. Whens the next installment.

Yes PHart's avatar and screen name are of Phil Hartman who was shot by his wife, in their home in Encino, California and then she committed suicide. His screen name "Phart" is an abbreviation and spin off on Phil Hartman's full name; this is just shameful really and I hope his family never see's this dishonoring of their son's name. Phart cut and pasted this off of the internet images,
Way to go Mr. lasagna gospel guy.

COMEDIANS WHO DIED TOO YOUNG

PHIL HARTMAN

A legendary scene-stealer from the late '80s and early '90s cast of SNL, Hartman created a slew of characters including Unfrozen Caveman, Frankenstein and the Anal Retentive Chef. His life ended in 1998 when he was tragically murdered at age 49 by his wife, who then committed suicide.

What is forgotten is people do listen to the gospel but conviction does not happen.
I know a lot like this. Some have conviction, they start going to church, but it fades.
Some are good attendees, a trauma happens and the do not come back.

Now who is saved and who not? If the Kingdom is about a living faith that springs
forth Gods words, then it is obvious who we are talking about.

In the parable of the seed and the sower, Gods word is the seed. So bringing forth
Gods word from your heart is to walk in the Kingdom.

At any point before this, it is fruitless. This is to walk like Christ, to know His blessing.
The thief on the cross brought words of faith out of his heart, and has gone down
in history for them. So this fruit is not hard to produce, and is the outflow of the Holy
Spirit working.

I am not sure about this question other as a way of avoiding repentance and walking
in love, which implies such people are not interested in Christ.

The sad truth is if you are a testimony of the reality of Christ in a person, I would say not a chance.

The hatred and animosity is so plain, I wonder if you have any other sentiments.
My granny, who I loved had a faith that changed me. She was kind, caring and had
a real heart for people. It was this that spoke to me, more than anyone else I knew.

My mum liked her so much she thought my dad must be ok.

You cannot under estimate the power of this love. God bless those who walk in His ways.
