I'm hoping I don't offend anyone, since people here get easily triggered, but I have to say it sometimes feel like I don't belong here. I'm Christian, I'm Pentecostal, Protestant, and all that. But I've noticed most people here are really old school when it comes to Christianity. I'm not one of those, obviously I know limits and what lines should not be crossed, but I'm not old school at all. Call me a millennial, yes I know we get a bad rep but sorry. When it comes up politics or just social issues in general I am at a different ideology. I don't know if it's just a old vs. young thing or not but it's frustrating.

Will I leave no, but sometimes I'm afraid giving my opinion on some things because I know people here will disagree and get mad. I've been called stupid and an idiot by some people for saying I believe in equality and opportunity.

I'm going to be a bit presumptuous to say that my response to your blog plays a part in this post. But really all I did was shoe facts. Provide history. Using those things to counter your misunderstood concepts. It doesn't require age of any kind to understand the definition of a word and to apply it correctly.
But that is one issue millennials are known for. Changing the meaning of words to suit their preferences. Words meanings then become subjective. When meanings become subjective communication breaks down. When communication breaks down arguments arise. When arguments arise tempers flare. Tempers flare and people take extreme actions. Don't believe me? Look at how liberalism has been toying with words and meanings for decades (political correctness). Now look at liberals demanding gender fluidity, free education, calling people racists, while at the same time burning books, prohibiting free speech and using violence.

But st the end of the day, truth is truth and not subject to age or culture. Each generation is somehow affected by their culture but it is our responsibility as Christians to work towards growing out of culture and into what God says and intended for us.To know truth regardless of age or culture.
You've grown up in an era where truth has been seen as more subjective than ever. That is the influence of human culture, not God.
Some here will hold to their cultural version of Christianity and it's between them and God to let go of that version of religion. Just like it is your responsibility to not let your culture skew your understanding of God. We are All responsible. Regardless of age.
While i do admit I find millennials the most frustrating youth I've ever witnessed, it has been a downward spiral that started before you. You are the product of a generation that's a step up from yours. And they were the generation that was a step down from their parents. As humility continues we decline further into sin and godlessness. And your kids, one day, will be a step down from your generation.
This is why people need God. God renews. Revives. Heals. Aids in our natural, spiritual devolution. But each generation grows further from that ideal. From God. It's quite possible your generation may be one of the last before God steps in.
That being likely it should cause you to reflect in the influence your generation has in your views.

Less than 3 weeks left y'all!

He's already dropping, but I'm not breathing any easier. Not eating as much since my stomach is pressed up to my diaphragm.

Tomorrow I see my doc again and she will check to see if I've started to dilate and that will determine when exactly he's coming and making plans and arrangements for the hospital!

Nursery is complete! My hospital bag is packed! Just need my car seat in the car and we are ready to roll!

Since Socreta was being sincere from his responses to the cc site, i will say on my behalf, personally, i don't read long written forums. When it has paragraphs and pages of writing i skip to another forum or next question. No offense, i'm just pointing it out.

I was wondering if you were like 90% of people here. Now I know you are.
Makes even more sense if long posts are not directed at you personally to begin with.

The Chiefs are now 3-0 after defeating the Chargers today. Their rookie running back (Kareem Hunt) looks great!

yeah, the most beautiful city on earth..
I've heard good things about San Diego. I almost had a chance to be stationed in San Diego while I was in the Navy back in the 80s but instead, had to settle for Hawaii.
