blue - There are many ways a statement can be taken.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life"
Now some may say he is insulting others who claim other things, how dare he insult them.
So it is possible to take almost any statement and say it insults someone though it can be 100% true.
So maybe what upsets you is something in your own life, which you cannot come to terms with.
Everything I state is what Jesus or the apostles have said and written.
And to be really honest, many have had terrible experiences which leave them hurt and upset, which
if a subject is talked about they get upset about it. It is not because anyone is saying anything wrong,
but emotionally there are still issues to resolve and come to terms with.
So unless you can actually specify what you mean, it is of little value. Christ is talking about love, hope,
life and freedom, overcoming sin and being free. Are you suggesting talking about this is insulting?
Is it insulting to call someone in adultery as adulterer, a thief and thief, a murderer as murderer,
a liar a liar, a greedy person a greedy person. Should we be quiet in the face of sin, and let it rot the
lives away of sinners?
