The Good Shepherd will lead His Sheep to the gate but they must hear and follow Him Faithfully.

I have no reason to cry.. you are abrupt but I'm not gonna cry.. when one as been beaten to a pulp and still stands and loves those who hurt.. you better believe I will still love you also... but will speak if needed.
FAITH alone saves.....sorry..works do not embellish that which has already been given by faith....
We conclude a man is justified by faith without the works of the LAW.....
SAVED by faith and faith ALONE
ANY WORK is a result of the faith and salvation one already possesses in Christ....
ROMANS-->PAUL-->justified before GOD BY FAITH void of works
JAMES-->JAMES-->our faith that justifies and saves before GOD seen BY MEN by our works
works do not save, keep saved or embellish salvation......Galatians 1 and 3 equates faith plus works for as a false gospel
We need Faith.. and that Faith produces works..
they are essesntialy one... else the Faith is dead like you say.
Like I said last night....I hate no one here, but I do despise any doctrine that leads one astray and or that denies the works of Christ on our behalf.....some of the vanilla café blend gospels on this site devalue the work of Christ, his sacrifice and the promises he has made.....I am blunt, and lack tact I know.....just defending the truth as I perceive it

Sorry.....your law abiding, works for to be justified before God will not pass the smell test......
The just shall live by faith<---no works or law abiding found in this verse.
In the grace you are, having been saved by faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of GOD not of works lest an man should boast.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy has he saved us.
He that believes on the son is not condemned.
NO ONE will ever be justified before God by that which was designed and given to prove guilt.
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
I often try to share with those who are being bewitched in this day to try and revive the dead husband(works) rather than love and obey the New Husband which Is Our Lord and Saviour Son of GOD.
So I understand zeal.. but if we harden our heart we will hear the word work and think it is denying Christ and His precious Blood that did what we could not for ourselves.
Loving and obeying is because we are saved and loved..
You know GOD is powerful and Faithful so that is why we are to believe to be made new Baptized with the Holy Spirit that guides and comforts us in to all Truth.
But if we mix up those who reject the Son of GOD with those that have received and forever grateful they Love and serve not for but because of.. So they can be lead to the gate by the Good Shepherd you are closing yourself off from the Messiah's Testimony.
There is a movement trying to revive the dead husband.. and they believe there is a renewed Covenant rather than a New Covenant.. but I will stand in GOD's power through Faith and show His Grace while I abide.

If I was to take you seriously, imagine this. I stand beside a non-believer listening
to the gospel, we leave the room and continue our lives.
Now let us suppose there is nothing to distinguish us apart.
Why will God reward one and not the other?
This appears what you are saying.
God may as well save the world, even not die on the cross, because it is
the same as going to the movies and seeing a film, it makes no difference to
the viewer.
You have just followed a way of thinking that excludes everything in man as evil,
so any action of a person cannot be included in the description of faith or experience.
So if you have salvation in this context, either it is totally arbitary, or universal.
This is why you denial of this whole theological and philosophical construct makes
everything else you write irrelevant.
Jesus expects us to build our house on the rock, following His advice.
Not exactly a difficult idea, but for you it is impossible, because surely you do not
know Jesus to talk like you do.
See....I acknowledge the CROSS of Calvary and the imputed righteousness of Christ....YOU devalue and reject both as insufficient and or a trick that does not work....NO my friend....I would say your partial quote here applies unto yourself and not me......try again....!
Well lots of people acknowledge that Jesus died, does not change them.
Unless the reality of Christs works brings repentance and humbleness in your heart it means
nothing to you. I know lots of people who go through everything yet they know nothing
in their hearts.
What you take as devaluing, is actually the opposite. I know Jesus changed me, because I
changed. It has taken a long time for me to see the difference between us.
I know Christs work, you still wait for it when He returns.
It is difficult at first in the early part of following Jesus to see the differences.
But it becomes more obvious over many years.
You still need Christ to wash you like a young believer, because nothing has
really been resolved. And because of this you project on to me your own state,
because you know no other. Unfortunately it is very possible to have all the head knowledge
and miss the reality within.
One member here saw no problem bullying and abusing another because they were weak in
their eyes. They did not see this spoke to what they were within, but we are what we are.
