Sorry I've been so distant lately. I've had so much going on these past couple of weeks. But I wanted to share with y'all one of my favorite maternity pictures I got to take a few weeks ago. I'll be 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and that leaves it to be 6 weeks till Baby Aidan is born. And there's already bets going on he's gonna come earlier than October 17th lol. I've already had a few Braxton Hicks Contractions... but still no baby lol. But it's getting close!

Some women look better pregnant, and some don't. And I just happen to be very lucky and blessed to have this "pregnancy glow" about me :)

When your time comes (which I know it will) you will see what I mean. ;)

I guess this post is directed to mailmandan the coffee man... It was reported on the internet that thru a study that four cups of coffee a day extends your longevity... So from one Java man to the other, bottoms up... I definitely have to update my intake... And I don't drink it black... YUCK!... Cream and sugar please... Brother Glen:D

I just got home from let's say an interesting afternoon lol. Why do men feel the need to get all touchy feely and grab the booty?!?! What's worse is that his wife saw and didn't say a darn thing.

I have never done that in my entire life - not even once - simply out of respect for 'womanhood' ( as I was raised ) - not treating any female like they were "just there to be my plaything"...

( Referring specifically to an uninvited / unsolicited "booty-grab" - to borrow from the quoted statement. )


I find it interesting that a lot of women ( many? most? ) actually seem to "like" for men to do things like that - considering the 'boldness' of it to be 'stimulating' ( perhaps not when it is done by a married man ) - while [ seemingly ] ignoring the men who contol themselves and don't do it "out of respect"...

Go figure... :confused: :rolleyes:


Why aren't women "turned on" by things like integrity, respect, and self-control...???

Why can't they recognize the things that "do not happen" - and, the very good reasons for it - by men who put forth unselfish restraint rather than self-serving lack-of-restraint...???


BTW - just because the wife did not say anything at that moment with regard to his action - does not mean that she will not say something to him at a later time... ;)

No, I didn't slap him. I should have but I didn't want to make a scene because in a nutshell it's embarrassing to not only have a guy do that in public, but to bring it to everyone's attention by slapping him would be more humiliating. I pray to God his wife said something because it was definitely not okay

It may have been ultimately better if you had slapped him. Just think about how humiliating it would have been for him. ;)

Of course, the real reason would be to set straight and firm his understanding that it was not acceptable.

You should have slapped him - and, brought it to everyone's attention - and, told him that what he did was unacceptable - and, embarrassed-the-crap-out-of-him - "right there in front of God and everybody"...

Those kind of things need to be addressed "on the spot" in public if we as a society are going to have a "zero-tolerance policy" about such things.

The frog is getting warmer - and, starting to boil.

What kind of society do we [ really ] want folks?

Next thing you know -- will people be standing around watching some guy molest some girl in public - and, perhaps, rape her on the restaurant table - and not say a thing?!?!

It is a shame. :(

You may think that is a very absurd and imaginative scenario -- but, is that not where we are headed "if good men do nothing"...???

Did any other men see it? What did they say or do?

Now - I realize that ( these days especially ) you never know for sure -- something like that could actually occur and be 'acceptable' to both parties -- in which case, I would not necessarily want to intervene. However, it was a whole lot simpler and easier back-in-the-day when [ certain things ] were considered to be 'private' actions and not something that should ever be seen casually done between people in public.

Can you see how it "confuses things" to not have a 'rigid' expectation of [ sexual ] conduct in 'public' places in society?

Just sayin'...

Maybe I shouldn't "overdrive" the issue of a "booty-grab" -- because, I would not want to "over-punish" the guy either. ( As if he had raped her or something like that. It really is an offense that amounts to "a lack of consideration" for another person. I do not consider it to be a 'criminal' offense. It would kind-of be like calling it a 'misdemeanor'. Not crucially serious, but still "out-of-line" conduct. )

The point really is about mutual 'respect' between people - and "proper" [ general ] conduct of people in society.

EDIT: In other words, I do believe that there should be such a thing as "proper conduct" in a society.
