I don't think the scriptures say to be opinionated about our sisters and brothers, but to respect them in love.
what does it teach about hypocrites?
I don't think the scriptures say to be opinionated about our sisters and brothers, but to respect them in love.
In what way is it boast if someone asks you what have you done for the lord? Doesnt make sense, it would be different if you yourself was going around bragging about what you have done for the lord.
Too late Meggido...it showed up on the side.
And loveme...the same judgement comes back on us when we accuse...not meekness this way.
I don't think any of us are ready for the Lords coming. But, my opinion only.
I would hope mag would follow that adviceI don't think the scriptures say to be opinionated about our sisters and brothers, but to respect them in love.
John and Charles Wesley taught this false doctrine. They were called on it by George Whitefield. Whitefield exposed many who professed to be sinless, to the chagrin of the Wesley's. Most are not aware of how very ugly the Wesley's were toward Whitefield. They were rascals to say the least, dogging his steps where he preached to lead others astray, taking over orphan homes he had established, turning people against him, publishing sermons against him. In other words they sowed discord and caused much division.Oh, and many of the hymns of Charles Wesley were written against election and predestination, a biblical doctrine they repudiated and outright rejected. Yep, they rejected this biblical doctrine. Sad.
You do not make a good start, to speak with such a forked tongue. My opinion of Magneta and her high minded tone... in regard to the conversation is not corrected here. Lovely scripture though.
Hi Meggido...I have re-read and i think i am seeing that because we have the Spirit of God, then it is God who reveals His mysteries to us...There are many who are out there speaking from their own wisdom which is foolishness, but when i do listen to people who say they are preaching Gods word, then because i have the Holy Spirit in me, God will reveal His truth to me from what i am reading...I won`t be judged by God for judging others if i see something wrong, for it will be the Holy Spirit who is showing me these things...Do i need to re-read, have i seen what you want to want me see, if not i will go back again...xox...
You do not make a good start, to speak with such a forked tongue.
Thank you...xox...You go it all sister...good stuff....nope you do not need to re-read it...you see the truth.....keep on keeping on
Hi EG,I can't recall where Jesus told Peter his sin was forgiven.Yes i agree he doesn't mention is sin of denial, I can't see that he does either.Peter a broken man then we find the conversation "Do you love me?First two times Jesus uses Agape and Peter responds Phileo.Third time Jesus uses Phileo and Peter upset and says "You know I Phileo you"Peter denied Jesus 3 times and on the third occasion Jesus looks at PeterLuke 22:60-6260 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!”Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 62 So Peter went out and wept bitterly.I am sure Jesus would have seen the heart of Peter at that point. It seems to me 3 denials and then 3 questions by Jesus. So I can't see that Jesus said to him "Your sins are forgiven" But I do think that when Jesus said to Peter "Feed my sheep" then Peter understood what true forgiveness is and how it works. The Peter who asked Jesus "How many times must I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me?Just my thoughts brother.
Your blindness does not equate to truth.I was being honest.. you adhere to the words of the Messiah when it comes to the destruction of a man but I have yet to see you share them to teach we should be perfect and righteous.... and that seems high Minded to me...
Last night one of the girls we mentor in our Ministry , preached to 186 women at a Friday night live event[ similar to Celebrate Recovery] in a church we minister in. The harvest came to 72 souls and many were touched, encouraged and edified by the preaching of the word...
