What was the point sweatheart?
I've forgotten and anyway YOU brought it up.
Actually it was YOUR claim I was responding to, so how could I have brought it up? Once again you misrepresent.

you mean jesus christ s teaching ,

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.John 10: I Am the Good Shepherd
What about CONTEXT?
And all that other exegesis type stuff you talk about?

You love that verse don't you.

Have you read all the other ones?
Hmm.
I don't think so.

The point was the words Jesus spoke. If one wanted to get technical, they should also include OT references, but to say Jesus spoke them would be technically wrong also, for the words of the apostles and those before Jesus were inspired by the Person of the Holy Spirit of God.
No sweetie.

Let's stick to the N.T.
There are over 100 just there.
Let's not get technical.
We're having enough problems here with no technical.
See?

Youre so sweet.
you really spread around the love of God.
Just how He'd want you to.

Faith's definition:unquestioning belief
Work's definition:effort of doing or making

Faith is not salvation, salvation is only obtainable through Jesus Christ, when an individual out of faith asks God to save their soul and accept Jesus as saviour,is salvation"Given" to the individual as well as "Given" the holy spirit to accept or reject,or accept then reject(which is why blaspheming the holy spirit is the "only" "unforgivable" sin for one must believe to accept and then reject the holy spirit in order to blaspheme the holy spirit)
Salvation is "Given" through Jesus by God,Earning Salvation is not possible once one accepts the grace of Jesus Christ, for his grace makes "salvation" possible "without works" one can only choose one,the Law for salvation or Jesus's grace, there is no other choice but these two,True God would want people to "work"'by spreading his word, but once accepting Jesus's grace "salvation" is already obtained, thereby "works" are no longer apart of one's "salvation" but they are still apart of one's walk in life with God still, this is why in James it speaks of "faith" not salvation being dead without works, because "works of faith" show God that you are more than "talk" concerning one's appreciation for "salvation" that was "Given" them but also that they will "hearken" when God has a task for them to do for him.
I do believe we agree!

Just one question regarding the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit.

Is a non-believer blaspheming the Holy Spirit?

I didn't "pick" on him I was making him aware of what he faces concerning such a statement as he said to stones of fire, nothing more nothing less.
OK.

I'm careful with my words.

This is why you were picking on him...:

Let's say three people say the same thing.
And you scold one of them and not the other two.

This means YOU'RE PICKING on the person you scolded.

Ok, so, There are some here who say really bad things that God would not approve of.
Allen said nothing compared to that and you scolded him by telling him what he said is Dangerous.

So you ARE picking on him.

In the gospels words of Jesus there are less than fifty mentions of the kingdom of God, KJV. Not about a hundred as you said. And it was not simply the NT, but the gospels you to which you specifically referred. So DR including the whole NT was an error to try to prove you right. You were wrong. I am sorry you find the truth so distasteful.

How can any of us that call ourselves christians come together on one accord with divisions of nasty attitudes. im really sadden that there is so much division. God 's word says be slow to anger, do not be swift to speak. what i see is two sides of one person.
I've been VERY slow.
Getting here has taken 6 hours.

no a non believer according to the bible cannot blaspheme the holy spirit because they must first accept the holy spirit,as in be saved first and receive the holy spirit thereafter, then reject the holy spirit,as in not appreciate the gift of the holy spirit and want rid of the holy spirit.

Yep and "anger but sin not" but sadly things can get divided between Christians or other p eople in Religions because of different views or simple, hate or rebellion,if people took the time to calm themselves down, instead of carrying on with banters or insults alot more "answers" could be established.
Not on THIS thread.

Did you look for the version that would give the most results? I used the KJV:

Matthew (5)
Mark (14)
Luke (28)
John (2)

That does not include mentions of it by others. I don't use your version.

Are you looking for verses with the word KINGDOM?
IF you are, you will NOT come up with the correct result.

Plus, why bother yourself?
Read my blogs and learn something.
It might help you.
Serious.

perhaps I should explain further allen spoke of the holy spirit as some kind of tool to use likely,as in as a way to find things when stones of fire asked a simple question of what number post was preacher's post,I did no different than the prophet whom came to david when he had murdered a man yet he was not aware of it,the same situation as with allen he spoke contrary to how the holy spirit works through us,and I merely was forewarning of that this is not simply mocking a person but God himself, for I wouldn't want anyone to provoke God and not be aware that speaking ill of the holy spirit in mocking is the same as mocking God so really I wasn't "picking on him" I was trying to keep him from a fight with God!

In another translation, there are only 26 mentions in the gospels :)
So you're looking for the version with the LEAST mentions!
You hate me that much?
You're supposed to love me even if I'm your enemy.

Anyway, you're not going about this the right way.
Kills you, don't it?

This is soooo interesting.

When you made your first list, you said there were ONLY 50, because I had said there are about 100.
Now you can find only 26.
Do you realize how dishonest this is of you?

No. I'm sure you can't. Go through Mathew. You know the verse,
Read it again for goodness sake.

Joseph, your post make me curious to ask: do you then say that unbelief is forgivable?

Romans one makes clear that people are without excuse...

Yes that I can agree with, people can be rather "insensitive" and not look upon "other" people's outlooks concerning God's word, and view only their view as right, which tends to go nowhere,I know God to be right, but I'm not going to force feed anyone for if God doesn't want such behavior then I don't want it,I "listen" when in bible discussion or otherwise, and "speak" only what is inoffensive(with the bible it may be unavoidable though)toward others, hatred only breeds more hatred, iniquity brings forth only wicked fruits, such things I simply "cannot" partake of,We are to be here for "learning" and "fellowship" not for "bickerings" or "seeking hurt" toward anyone,or even for "prideful boasts" such things are simply "Useless".
you're right and I confess to all of the above at one time or another although sometimes I'm just kidding around.
And this, dear Joe, is the reason I cannot stay on this thread. It is of no value to anyone and my spirit is bothered.
I do however feel the topic is important and am sometimes torn, to be honest.

sorry about the ignore post,I noticed you were "actively posting" but you didn't notice I kept requoting my past post so I started to wonder if you were upset with me was all.
Never upset with those who don't agree as long as they're nice about it.
We can disagree and be civil with each other.

I'm speaking in regards to the "one" unforgivable sin,not unbelief being forgiveable or not,I can only assume on the basis of that the "one" unforgivable sin is blaspheming the holy spirit and that I suppose, that means unbelief is forgiveable by comparison, unless you can explain what you mean further.
