Basically there are several chemos available, all have pretty bad side effects and over time bascially run down your body. BUT it cannot be said that God hasn't used the chemo because now the tumor has shrunken so much that they basically can't see it on a scan. God has helped that chemo to just blast it out. As far as being cured, the chemo doesn't. But, the immunotherapy that dad might be given soon can lead to remission.
God is good.
Steph I see the Lord working wonders in you....praise him for you are so blessed sis. When I started my treatments the Lord gave me a proverb to think about. " Can a man take fire in his bosom and not be burned" the answer is yes with God all things are possible. So I went through the chemo and radiation treatments as a witness of faith . I had the option of no radiation but to try a new type of chemo. In a test group. I declined.
At the end of the 30 days of radiation I was hurting....I won't lie. When I went to surgery they told me that the tumor was obliterated.
When I got out of recovery to be transferred to my room bed there were 4 people to help pick me up gingerly as I had 5 holes in my tummy after 6 hrs of surgery and a ostomy. With a few attempts to position me comfortable and me becoming more coherent to what they were attempting to do I picked myself up with my arms in sitting position legs straight out and placed myself on the other bed. All 4 people stood there wide eyed and totally amazed.
2 of the four said that they had never seen this ever in there yrs In the field. Between you and I I did this with no effort there was one who picked me up and placed me they did not see.....Jesus.
Ya see sis that's why I believe the Lord chooses how he will heal. If he will heal. We must trust in his ways for he and he alone knows the beginning and the end. If we are to be a witness of him then what ever the out come life or death, a touch or treatment, full recovery or a limp or thorn in the side, let it be for his glory.
Loving ya sis....potter
