for background research if you haven't seen these movies already. Know your enemy is a good series to watch if you are new to the concept of the new world order and new world order bible versions is good at explaining the angle once you are aware of the new world order.

For me reading about the history of the bible was an eye opener learning about terms like textus receptus, the latin vulgate etc.
How the catholic church supressed the word for the masses and made dependent the church for the word of God.
How the catholic church went after versions like the geneva and great bible aswell as the king james version because it was a threat to its market on cornering the word of God for the masses.
That the king james bible can be published by any publisher without cost to the owner (crown owned)
to publish a NIV bible you need to give Rupert Murdoch his Cut.

I do think that the new wave of different bible versions is an attempt to change the word of God from the king james version. Since the king James version (KJV) is the most published bible from its first edition in 1611.

The framing the world video goes into detail as to what is changed and shows a trend as to what is changed in the bible and how this causes doctrinal differences between the different versions.

Key difference is lucifer is missing from the modern bible versions and the reference to the morning star.

Hi I have not read the rest of thread yet only your post here but I am wanting to discuss your theory. Firstly I want to know what makes you think the kjv is the one true bible? what evidence do you have to support this belief?

We know of a church that used Romans 1 as a defense as you suggest in your post and it backfired even worse....were does the term homosexual at in this passage...The Law does not argue a spiritual idea....they argue terms and definitions and the secular world has defined those terms....they were forced to settle and it almost closed the church...

You prove what I see every day...Christian get smug and arrogant thinking they won't be touched....let me tell you ladies and gentleman its going to get far worse than some of you believe you will stand for....

I own several books from CS Lewis, and I'm a huge fan of Churchill. On the whole, what we call the middle ages was a time of great literature, and Lewis often complained that his generation had gone astray from it.

To be sure, there are some translations/versions that I will steer away from, such as the Message and the New World Translation (JW).

I was raised on the KJV, and that's the version of my baptism gift Bible. It is one of my favorite translations.
I have a NKJV that I use for study and to quote Scriptures from
I use a NIV (original iteration) and a HCSB at church.
I have a NLT, but I don't read it as much as I used to.

Wow... you change your entire worldview based on two biased videos on YouTube? That makes you gullible. Don't worry, it's not a sin in itself, just a fruit of the Fall.

Please, for the sake of your faith, do some balanced research, beginning with reading James White's book, "The King James Only Controversy" (2nd. ed.).
I said I have read into the history of the bible and that was before I had watched the 2 videos (13 hours of viewing between the 2) how can you come to the conclusion of bias when you haven't even watched them?

the NIV says about the son rather in unto the son

Luke 2:33 The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him.
The KJV said joesph and his mother in the NIV it says father and mother refering joesph as the father.

Its the subtile changes to the words that try and undermine christ's position.

Good... you have done some homework, so you're not quite as gullible as I thought. Still, I'd recommend Dr. White's book.

I watched the video. Coming from a group that had several KJVO type churches, and knowing most of the arguments I cannot accept what KJVO teaches. The arguments for KJVO fall under lies, half-truths, taking statements out of context, sensationalism, conspiracy theories, fear, and things of that nature.

I use the ESV after having used the KJV for many years. I also use the NKJV, YLT, NASB. I do not use the NIV, however.

The false teachings and divisive lies of the KJVO camp have wrecked havoc in many churches unnecessarily. The camp is typically made up of vitriolic persons who talk about the Bible version incessantly. Anything to keep persons from preaching the Gospel of Christ.

The video is filled with vitriol, lies, partial truths, conveniently edited excerpts of the exchange between Dr. White and Anderson to make it appear the way Anderson wishes it to appear, double standards and other tactics that are less than honest.

Newer versions haven't changed any doctrine, and haven't taken anything out of Scripture. In fact, the KJV has things added into Scripture that are not in the most extant mss.

take the simplist one and look at the NIV calling jesus the son of joesph instead of the Son of God.
When somebody takes care of you as if you were his son, such a man is called "father" even though he is not your biological father.

Also, do not be lazy and read the story of Jesus' birth in the same NIV. Its very clear how it happened:


"How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. "

Lk 1:34

So whats the problem?
