Jam2.10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. note
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.[SUP] 2 [/SUP]For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.[SUP] 3 [/SUP]For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.[SUP] 4 [/SUP]For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.[SUP]5 [/SUP]For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
Romans 3:[SUP]19 [/SUP]Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.[SUP] 20 [/SUP]Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.[SUP]21 [/SUP]But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;[SUP] 22 [/SUP]Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:[SUP] 23 [/SUP]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [SUP]24 [/SUP]Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [SUP]26 [/SUP]To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
You can honor the Lord on the sabbath day. You can regard the day or esteem the day, but do not seek to keep that sabbath day to avoid sinning when it is because Jesus Christ is in you and is with you always is why you are blameless for profaning the sabbath day as it is His righteousness alone that brings you Home.
No flesh shall glory in His Presence as a sabbath day keeper, so do not exalt yourself over others as if you are not sinning by keeping the sabbath day holy, because non sabbath day keepers are blameless for profaning the sabbath day when Jesus Christ is able to make them stand apart from the deeds of the law.
So stop thinking that you HAVE to keep the sabbath day or else you are sinning, because that is like denying Him as able to make you stand apart from the deeds of the law of keeping the sabbath day holy. That is why Jesus is Lord of the sabbath.
Yes it is a sin to not keep the sabbath day holy ... under the Old Covenant, BUT BECAUSE Jesus Christ is in you is why you are blameless for profaning the sabbath day. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit... if those saints that had profaned the sabbath day in the O.T. were blameless because they were in the temple, then that is why you are blameless now.
1 Corinthians 6:[SUP]19 [/SUP]What? know ye not that
your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?[SUP]20 [/SUP]For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
2 Corinthians 13:[SUP]5 [/SUP]Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that
Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
So rest in Him today and thank Him that He is able to make you stand even when you are profaning the sabbath day.
