Ever hear of the Mother's of Invention?
Sure I have. What does that have to do with anything??
Ever hear of the Mother's of Invention?
Same goes for orange juice and other acidy drinks.
You bite pickles?? Wow, didn't anyone ever teach you how to eat pickles?.
So what do you and Allen know that nobody else knows???
Spill the beans,
I mean, The Pickles...
There's a fine art in eating pickles.
You need to go to pickle college.
Pickle College??
I'm a NU YAWKA.
I've eaten at the BEST Jewish Deli's in Mahnattan --- the town that never sleeps.
I've eaten the BEST garlick pickles, just ask those persons who won't come near you for the next two days.

These mothers need fashion advisors.
Hair dressers.
and some Happiness Training.
(no pun intended)
(yeah right)
lol ok but to be serious, the mother in vinegar is the good bacteria that makes vinegar in the first place. In most store bought vinegars the mother is taken out and the vinegars are filtered and refined within an inch of their lives, which removes most of their health benefits and all that good bacteria that your body needs.
That's why they're so clear.
What about balsamic vinegar?
I like that better.
The bacteria is probably boiled out of it,
but let me know...

the best thing about Braggs, is that they 'cure' their vinegar in wooden vats, as opposed
to the others, and this somehow adds to the MOTHER and benefits to it's worth for our bodies -
we both have used it for decades and know from our own experiences how it has helped us to
maintain our health in so many ways...
as for pickles, usually it's your body craving what it needs in order to maintain a certain balance,
but the 'refined-salt' in pickles works in opposition to what your body really needs, as 'refined salt' is
something that our bodies definitely don't need, as opposed to 'real sea salt, which is what our
bodies are made from, from the very 'beginning'.,.common sense...

i have seen it done, and tasted the delicious results. we live in apple country, and went to a farm where they had an ancient machine that pressed the apples. put whole apples in, squish them (there was a crank involved, and no, it wasn't me. that time.). the liquid runs out the bottom.
come visit me and i can show you.
Sounds the same as making wine.
I used to have an old press too --- not anymore.
Will look into this.
Is the juice ready immediately or does it have to ferment?
