JOB 12:4.
I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and He answereth him:
the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

EZE. 23:34-35.
Thus saith The Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large:
thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

Therefore thus saith The Lord GOD;
Because you hast forgotten Me, and cast Me behind your back, therefore bear you also your
lewdness and your whoredoms.

EZ. 23:38.
Moreover this they have done unto Me: they have defiled My Sanctuary in the same day,
and have profaned My Sabbaths.
.........

23:49.
And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and you shall bear the sins of your idols:
and you shall know that I AM The Lord GOD.

It takes less facial muscles to smile than frown....and laughter is good medicine according to Solomon....we are made in God's image.....if we have these things surely God does as well.....many might say Jesus was a man of sorrows and rightfully so...but lest we forget...Jesus had limited time and a specific mission....even though..Jesus Jesus did rejoice in spirit, and surely laughed at one thing or another.......

What's the Bible says on this topic? KJVEphesians3:3-7 3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you,as becometh saints; 4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6. Let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

The bystander thought he was a Christian and didn't recognize a miracle.

Moses married a woman from Cush (Ethiopia). His sister Miriam was upset so God gave her leprosy which made her white. Moses prayed for her and she was healed.

How about the math rounding error of Numbers 3. There are 22300 Levites when we add the 3 families of Levites but the rounded 22000 is used to fleece the firstborn sons out of 1500 shekels. No errors in the Bible? The prophecy is the Levites will cheat the first born sons. Abraham was born 223 years before Ishmael died at 137 years. The first 2 time periods of the Flood (there are 4 time periods of the Flood) add up to 223 days when the tops of the mountains are seen.

No errors in the Bible. 1 Corinthians 10:8. 23000 died in one day. At Baal-Peor in Numbers 25, a total of 24000 died.

We don't know the age of Jesus at death? Joshua 7:3-5. about 36 killed (2 or 3 always represents Jesus in the Bible). Joshua 8 tells the gospel in military conquest of Ai.

1 Corinthians 10:8 = 23000, but genesis 32:28 says about 3000 men of the people. But, 32:33 implies more were blotted out potentially.

Numbers 3 mentions a month old and above as 22000, so theoretically 300 are below a month? Potentially.

With other points, you haven't referenced verses fully either for both ot/NT etc.

And I don't think God has humour. As humour is nearly always at another's expense. So, potentially sinful, mocking etc??

Of course God has a sense of humor! He created all good things and humor is good! But not all humor is good. Sometimes there's a fine line between good and bad jokes. Monty Python is difficult. I've only seen it once, so I can't remember everything, but some humor is bad some is good. The rabbit of Caerbannog and the black knight are just hilarious. However, I remember at least one scene that makes me very uncomfortable. 'God' speaks from the clouds and, when someone calls Him Lord, 'God' tells the guy to stop because everyone's always calling Him Lord and it gets tiresome and more things I don't remember. This might seem funny, but the problem is that it endows God with qualities He doesn't have. God would never tell people not to call Him Lord because that would mean He was denying who He was. We know God is a jealous God who won't allow other gods to take credit for His accomplishments. He calls Himself our friend, but that doesn't mean we should lose sight of who He is. He is our Lord and the King of the World and we should never treat Him as anything less. I doubt the writer thought, 'I'm going to lower God and tell lies about Him,' but that's what the joke does. It's like someone who says, 'No offense, but I don't find you attractive.' That person might not mean to give offense but what he/she says is offensive anyway. That doesn't mean that Christians need to boycott the film, but they should be very careful in how they view it and guard their thoughts while doing so.

As far as Godly humor, look at 1 Samuel 5:3-5. The Ashdodites have captured the Ark of the Covenant and place it in the temple of their god, Dagon. "…3When the Ashdodites arose early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and set him in his place again. 4But when they arose early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. And the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off on the threshold; only the trunk of Dagon was left to him. 5Therefore neither the priests of Dagon nor all who enter Dagon's house tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.…"

The Ashdodites are worshipping a fish. Not even a real fish, a stone or wooden one. But God makes their fake fish bow before Him.

i find the whole situation in John 9, where Jesus heals a man born blind, really funny. while it certainly wasn't His only purpose, it reads to me as if Christ "trolled" the Pharisees by doing this, and the man himself has a good sense of humour too

So they said to him, “What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?” He answered them, “I told you already and you did not listen; why do you want to hear it again? You do not want to become His disciples too, do you?”
(John 9:26-27)

though, the Pharisees didn't seem to appreciate the irony :p

I think God has a sense of humor. I find these passages humorous:

1 Kings 22:8 & John 1:46

Besides, Colossians 1:16 says, "all things were created by Him & for Him...."

I also think a distiction needs to be made between Right Humor (not humiliation or belittling Him or others) & wrong (mocking & scoffing Him or anything associated with Him).

If you wonder why it's difficult to find examples of God's humor, its because that word is not used to describe and by the way in old English the word humor meant good or bad attitude. If I told you: The humor of God is wiser than the wisdom of the wise of this world, there would be something important left out, His bad attitude Lol, The verse reads, "The foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of the wise of this world. That still doesn't explain well unless you understand a French saying, Love to the point of Folly. Keep in mind God is Love; took our blame and died: made sence when He is risen. And besides we are the humor of
God, "And for thy pleasure we are created." God would not let his enemy steal his humor and defeated him by letting him think he won.

may we all look in the mirror!...
Laughing about the way you look is basically saying you think God did a bad job. It's saying look at the mess God has made with all humans, in His image.

Anyone who can create puppies and kittens and giraffes and platypuses and so many strange sea creatures has to have a sense of humor.

You DO KNOW that the "Image" we are made in is our Triune Being, not our physical bodies right?

I awoke laughing. My wife asked what was happening. I told her that Jesus just told me something funny. I could hear the mirth in His voice. Yes He is Jesus.
