I see it as Christ's sacrifice ended the sacrificial system. I agree that 40 years later they were forced to stop sacrifices with the destruction Jerusalem but any sacrifices they made after Christ were not valid to God. I don't believe God would accept a lamb after the real Lamb was sacrificed.
While I disagree with much of what you say, I do agree with this post.

So what was so significant about 66-70 AD? For the one, the avenging of the blood of the prophets, and Israels last days:

Deu 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Deu 32:29 (Young's Literal) If they were wise -- They deal wisely with this; They attend to their latter end:

So when is the last days of Israel according to Deuteronomy? The prophet is telling Israel to consider their last days or end when he states what it will be:

Deu 32:32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

Deu 32:43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

For he will avenge the blood of his servants - this theme of avenging the blood of his servant runs through scripture all the way to the book of revelation.

Moses states that the blood of God's servants would be avenged on the vine of Sodom, or apostate Israel.

We have in the gospels Jesus stating that the blood of God's servants would be required in that generation:

Luke 11:48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.

Luke 11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

The question that needs to be asked is when would the blood of the prophets be required? Is yet to come of was it accomplished in the 1st century AD.

Isa 27:9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

Isa 27:10 Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.

Under the law the only recompense for shedding innocent blood was death:

Isa 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

In the above Isaiah is stating that the purging of blood guilt of the vine of Sodom, the daughters of Zion and Jacob will be done "by the spirit of judgment, and :by the spirit of burning" when he "maketh all the stones of the altar as chalk stones " and "the defensed city shall be desolate".

This sure is sounding like Jesus' statements:

Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

And he tells us when that will happen:

Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till ALL be fulfilled.

Now if the blood guilt of Jacob aka the vine of Sodom has not been purged then it means that it is yet future - but there is a problem with that - the Jews of today would have to identify themselves as the children of those that killed the prophets:

Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

I doubt that the Jews are gonna make that mistake again - "fool me once".....

God ended the sacrificial system when he purposed, which was AD70, not when you think he ought to have ended it

5) it was the great justification of the Church. The Church had battled antiChrist Jerusalem for 40 years. Jerusalem claimed that Jesus was not God. In AD 67-73 God delivered a verdict when much like when Elijah faced off the prophets of Baal, God torched Judah and Jerusalem but saved the Church, thereby giving a divine verdict that would have reverberated around the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire was the channel through which the Church had been seeded
I wouldn't argue that any of that is not true but I don't see any of that reasoning mentioned in the bible.

Do you have any idea how fast that can happen?
Sure I do, but not in just a matter of minutes.
But remember there are a few other things that must come to be also.
The point I was making is to say He could come at any minute is not true.

It is laced throughout scripture. God promised Jesus to put his enemies under his feet. This means a reversal of roles. The Jews judged Jesus but then God judged the Jews

Unbelieving Jews
What does the old covenant do for the unbelieving Jew? They continue in the law so does that mean they die and go on to be with the Lord?

So the antichrist is set up in a matter of a day in the right situation. The situation? Chaos like we have now. He is elected or whatever and he is in. Then bang! Those that are to be raptured are gone. Just that fast. I believe that the only prophesy yet to be fulfilled before the rapture is the antichrist being set up. We ARE that close.

Do you agree that verse 10 is the end of the old covenant?

Zechariah 11:10-14 KJV
And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

[11] And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord .

[12] And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

[13] And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord .

[14] Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

Well, here is where we disagree.
I see that many others signs are prophesied that must come to pass first.
