Amen preacher4truth. I cannot support this enough!!

There is no receiving of the Spirit without reception of the one Gospel and belief in the truth of the person of Christ. Feelings and emotions don't equate to a deviation of these truths of Scripture, they are purely subjective. We should always stick to Scripture, not stories and experiences.

For those reading know that salvation is a one step process if you are saved you are saved.

One Gift....Eternal Life.

I agree with the above.

It has to do with getting salvation.

Salvation is a two step process.

Too many stop at step number one.

Since I've been going on about this for many, many pages. I'll stop here.
You could look this up if you're interested.

Then why must we ENDURE till the end???
Mathew 24:13

I mean, did Jesus know what He was saying or not?
Do we believe Him or not?

I don't see it as bragging either.

I see it as edification.
We need to hear more things like this...

by nature I was very shy and reserved

I can honestly say that Jesus changed my nature

the spiritual life should be the norm for Christians, but certain sects have taken that and run off in all directions, accepting teaching of demons (what scripture calls doctrines of demons) and if it 'feels good' it must be God

they have thrown good solid teaching out the window, have no use for it in fact, and defend heresy and demonic manifestations as the Holy Spirit

the REAL (geez I don't even like using the term) Christian life is a changed person, good deeds and finally being given spiritual gifts and the descretion of God who is the One who gives them out

instead, they create something called the school of the prophets, referring to the OT, the SAME OT they toss and say it's all law, permit ungodly behavior when scripture teaches that ALL THINGS SHOULD BE DONE DECENTLY AND IN ORDER

they say if it were not God, He would stop it

would He? would He really?

even that is not biblical

don't you know that 'endure till the end' ONLY applies to the dark continent, the hills of Scotland where the remains of druids live, the dark inner cities of European countries and China and Russia?

forget it baby!

just ask the god in your mind to supply you with all your needs

it's obvious He has forgotten about any place but the US and sometimes Canada

Sevenseas...

I learned only this week, that some believe that Jesus' message BEFORE the crucifixion is DIFFERENT from the message AFTER the Crucifixion. (as told by Paul).

I don't know, I thought Jesus was a pretty smart person and maybe even GOD and KNEW what He was talking about,

but, apparently, He didn't.

I mean, do people REALIZE what they're saying????
Does deafness and blindness go that deep???

I'm in shock here.

Scripture is not full of contradictions, although some like to make it so.:(

Before cross....the world was under the old covenant laws.....

After the cross....the world is under the New covenant of grace,

Jesus taught both and how the New covenant would replace the old covenant.

In the old covenant, it was an eye for an eye....In the new it's turn the other cheek.

I have no argument with what you say.

My point is if God makes an appearance is He not going to lead them to Himself? They still have to believe just like Paul did on the road to Damascus.

God does not act outside of purpose in scripture.
sometimes God makes an appearance to write 'Ichabod' over the doorframe of manmade temples, including the ones between the ears

The term Ichabod is found in two places in the Bible,1 Samuel 4:21 and 14:3. Ichabod was the son of Phinehas and the grandson of Eli, the priest of the Lord in Shiloh. The sad story of Eli and his two wayward sons, Phinehas and Hophni, is found in 1 Samuel, chapters 2 and 4. Hophni and Phinehas died in battle with the Philistines who captured the Ark of the Covenant and took it away from Israel. Upon hearing this terrible news, Eli fell backward off his chair and broke his neck and died. Phinehas’s pregnant wife went into labor and bore a son.

“And she named the child Ichabod, saying, ‘The glory has departed from Israel!’ because the ark of God had been captured and because of her father-in-law and her husband. And she said, ‘The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured’” (1 Samuel 4:21–22). The word Ichabod means literally “inglorious” or “there is no glory,” and in her pain and despair, the woman (who is unnamed in Scripture) lamented over the loss of the glory of God from Israel.

God purpose is always the same

no scripture is very plain

however the people reading it are full of contradictions

when someone states the laws as revealed in scripture are done away with, they contradict almost half the New Testament

Paul talks about the law all the time and tries to explain it

he tries to explain what it meant, what it means and how we are to see it

there is no law for those who are in Christ Jesus, but that does not mean go practice immorality

so what does it mean?
