Actually sir I am not saying it, God is and does. We who are saved are dead to the law and as such face no condemnation. Are there consequences in this life for making bad choices? Absolutely. However, as far as judgement or condemnation is concerned we who are saved face neither. Again, it is not in any way, shape or form what we do that either saves us or keeps us saved OR determines if we are condemned but rather it is what Jesus did that determines all those tings.
Once we begin to realize our true identity in Christ then and only then can we act in any sort of real Christian way. When we let ourselves be deceived into toxic faith (thats trying to meet a set of standards set by religion to gain our worth) we can not truly follow Jesus' command to love God above all else and love others as we love ourselves. It is only when we begin to have genuine faith (realizing our worth comes from Christ and Christ alone) that we are finally free to love others as God loves us.
We are incapable of saving ourselves and we are sealed unto salvation by the finished work of Jesus. This is a very, very difficult thing to accept as it means we must lay down our pride and ego and trust Jesus. However once accomplished we gain a freedom we could never have imagined. For me it's a daily process and often an hourly one when I thank God for making me righteous and holy.
Also when we try and establish our own righteous through good works or anything else we are actually disobeying God.
Romans 10:2-3
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
God wants us to have faith in Him, not our own works.
You are not condemned if Christ is in you and you are in Christ.
Colossians 1:27-29 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone PERFECT in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.
John 14:20-24,31 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave.
1 John 5:1-5 Faith in the Son of God Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
John 14:15-16 Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit “if you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—
1 John 3:16-18 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
IF YOU LOVE GOD, OBEY HIS COMMANDS.
Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
TRY THIS...
Matthew 19:16-26 The Rich Young Man Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?” “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’” “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be PERFECT, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
God bless. To God be all the glory!
