Misuse would be dangerous, as would misuse of any mechanical object.

Many of us who are continuing to grow and get closer to the Lord know discipleship is what we are to be working at.
Making disciples starts with relationship, one on one, the shooting sports provide a wonderful opportunity to do this, when a young person wants something, especially a little boy, their ears open up and they pay attention, that is a wonderful
time to put life lessons in their mind, their responsibilities to themselves, their family, their G-d, their Lord and Savior, etc.
Everything we do, every person we have contact with, is a ministry opportunity, if we are walking with Him.

I hear guided hunts are super fun.

I don't hunt right now...but I really want to start.

With a gun you have this "attractive" piece of metal that just fits in your hand and it makes a loud noise (always a cool thing if you have testosterone) and it can make a powerful impact at a distance. The challenge is how accurate you can be with this. Is this any different from archery?

And the folks you hang out with are not sissies who are blinded by political speak from liberals who can't think straight.

This is not a put down down to you. It means that there is comfort in hanging out with people who think similar to what you do and not having to argue with them about why you enjoy playing with guns.

having a trophy shouldn't seem demonic, we were given dominion over the creation.
Competitive marksmanship is a great sport and brings believers together, the devil would like to
prevent believers from joining together, hence deceiving people to believe it is unChristian for Christians
to meet together with other Christians to enjoy a sport.
The 2nd Amendment isn't about plinking cans.
My Brother EarnestQ-I don't think we should refer to our sport as "playing with guns" to people who are already confused about the pastime. Positive presentation of self and all that.

Local paper did a series on 10-20-50- years ago news, seeing a deer in the fifties was news worthy.

Heard a comedian once say, give those animals assault rifles and well see how many people still go hunting. lol
