You can not say they are false.
yeah, i can.
i did.
it's been discussed ad-absurdum. read this thread from the beginning.
You can not say they are false.
But the idea of gravity was never actually proven and a far more absurd idea scientifically.
then what is stopping you from jumping off a cliff, or a tall building?
or from floating into the fake sky-ceiling whenever you take a step?

sunset time-lapse by amateur photographer, without lens flare
note that the sun does not greatly reduce in apparent size, nor does it stay above the horizon ((as natural laws dictate that there is no such thing as sunrise or sunset if the earth is a disc with the sun revolving 3,000mi above its surface))
You showing me a sun go down over the horizon does not disprove that everything goes down over a horizon even if its a few miles away.
mass, density, and temperature.
You showing me a sun go down over the horizon does not disprove that everything goes down over a horizon even if its a few miles away.
Also according to that picture the sun is going down at such an angle it should be night time for about 45 minutes and be morning again if it was round.
draw me that ray diagram.
if what you say is true, it should be no problem.
But if the earth was flat and your eyes played tricks like they do, that sun could be going directly downward and look like its going to a big angle because its at a distance. If you picture it not going at a angle at all you will be able to picture the idea of it going straight, spinning around us.
it sets at an angle dependent on the season and the latitude. this is very well known & explained.
what makes you think it's going to suddenly change direction and rise again in the west?
boy, Eric Dubay has you guys understanding all screwed up.
distance in the x-axis doesn't change the angle in the y-axis.
draw me that ray diagram. show me with clear, unassailable geometric proof that reality matches the pancake-planet model.
You cant draw on this chat box. Your diagram did just fine. And theres a million on the net you can look at yourself. I am not drawing it and that doesnt prove or disprove anything.
if there are a million ray diagrams showing why an object at an arbitrary distance disappears over the edge of a perfectly flat plane, it shouldn't take you more than 2 seconds to call one up.
i suspect you're not drawing one because it's impossible and the moment you try to do it ((if you understand geometry at all)) it will become obvious what a joke this whole flat-earth thing is, and how God shows ever creature multiple times per day the truth - as the moon and sun rise and set.
use google drawings, free and easy. here's a link:

see how those train tracks are running into each other? it looks like they are getting closer together but they really are not. they look like they are getting smaller but they are really not. they look like they fall off the earth but they really dont.
No as I said many times before, I am not drawing it because its impossible to draw on a chat box.
