The word translated in General. 4:14 as fugitive does not mean it in the way we see the word. The original word did not mean someone running from the law.man, are you reading the scripture? it says he is a fugitive in plain daylight GENESIS ;4 14
I hate spell check. I meant genesis 4:14 not general.![]()
I think before looking at the skins it is also important to understand that God made the first (and the last) blood sacrifice. If God did not sacrificed the animals for Adam and Eve they would have died in Eden the day they sinned (grace
). We can see through the Bible that God's character (Torah) does not change. He is the non changing One. We just need to seek it out.
God bless
He provided a temporal covering until THE ETERNAL COVERING would come
but yes it is important to understand that GOD provided the sacrifice
just as Abraham prophecied
Rainrider,I believe we should not pass over the garment so quickly as it is a picture of CHRIST's COVERING which GOD would provide
GOD knew not only mankind/Adam/our fall...HE more importantly knew the victory in HIS SON
HE sent mankind/Adam/us from HIS PRESENCE covered over in a temporal covering knowing full that HE would pursue us with the Only GARMENT needed...That of HIS SON
I think we all hate spell check. Well at times anyway. Some days it is my best friend.
I thank you your post on names, I do understand that impotence is placed on every word, as the Rabbis have always took time to cover them with great detail.
So sorry for my zeal!
Oh how I looooooove HIS WORD
I can't get over the TRUTH how GOD hid HIS WORD throughout HIS WORD!!!
Dod anyone know that THE TRSTIMKNY of JESUS is THE SPIRIT of PROPHECY?

All of themSo tell us, since it is written,

Matthew 28
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
Mark 16
2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
Luke 24
1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
John 20
1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Matt 3:16
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Did you know that light is temporal?
Yes I did. And the TESTIMONY of JESUSWell, you asked if I knew that there are twelve hours in a day, which obviously is a reference to the passage in John 11:9-10.
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Genesis 1
