Ford Escorts were sold from about the 1960's to about the mid 1990's and they had five different designs over the years as I recall. The Mk1 and Mk2 were the ones that brought fame to Ford in the UK due to their success in rallying. They were rear wheel drive with 4 speed manual gearboxes with a range of different sized petrol engines with simple mechanics. The 2 door versions were in such high demand for rallying that it is rare to see one today. Just a shell of a 2 door car in good condition can fetch £8000 and up. Even poor condition 2 door shells of these cars sell well. The four door versions also in recent years sell for high prices as rally enthusiasts look for these if no 2 door versions are available.
Somewhere in the early 1980's the new Mk3 came in with a totally different new body shape and front wheel drive transmission. Somewhere around the mid to late 1980's a five speed gearbox was used. The cars from the Mk3 onwards were so different it was just the name which was retained!
The Escorts were replaced with the new Focus models around the late 1990's onwards.

Van versions were also made of all the variants, as were estate versions. The later versions had the option of a diesel engine. I used one of these as a postman. The diesel engine lacked go (1800cc) and flat out one could get 70mph after about a mile or so of straight road! The post vans were robust and cheap to run going a week and a half on a tank of fuel in stop start operation.

Please oh please tell me you were just kidding about dancing lol... I just can't picture that right now... I used too dance and now that ship has sailed lol.

I think my mechanic said something like that... the wiring or something coming lose or possibly chewed off? Idk. And as for my driving skills, I'll have you know I drive Bette that my brother.. who's had 2 wrecks in the past 6 months!! Granted they weren't his fault but still. Lol

I'm not gonna worry about my driving... it just irritates me that every car I touch.. something happens to it eventually down the road.. just frustrating sometimes you know? But I'll be ok.

Thanks for the encouragement ^_^
I get the outside forces trying to get to our faithfulness for sure, a year ago my engine blew and I had to purchase a whole new engine, which was still cheaper than buying a new car. And now I have a new engine but still I felt the moment experientially...it was an outside force of events that evil spirits also want to take advantage of. But, so is God. We are powerless to move out the event altogether, but we have a choice which direction to move spiritually: either closer to God, or into introspection. We can become self-aware. This is the conditions which the evil one can take advantage of in our minds. We are left with having to move in one direction or the other mentally and spiritually - right?!! And God has left us in charge of placing our minds in Him.

We want to say, "Yeah, well its just life, things happen." And that is right things do happen, but in every turn of events in life God is working, as well as Satan is plotting. So, this is a spiritual warfare. And you are being faithful thru it, so I am not correcting you, I am noting the platform of events in the picture here spiritually is all....

I noted your word "Frustrating & irritates" and although I think you simply meant it makes you mindful of the events at hand, frustration actually has a spirit behind it too.For it is anxiety wrapped in the sheep's clothing of rationalism and common sense. In the spirit of discussion here, the words meaning of "frustration" is the feeling of being annoyed, like that of the word "irritates" it starts out in the spiritual disturbance of annoyance, but always has a spiritual life direction and intent of impatience and anger to follow if it can move us there.

"Frustrate" at its core meaning is to prevent (a plan or attempted action) from progressing, succeeding, or being fulfilled. It has a spirit of derailing God's intentions like that of anxiety, of missing the mark. I am not trying to be hyper vigilant here, but the truth does set us free in understanding His Spiritual truths. Just saying....Smile.:). So, that is why I was excited for you in that you were able to show God His glory to the world over this, and that He was drawing you nearer to Him as well relationally. He is in charge of caring and loving you, so that is the trust factor. So, you are in the midst of diligence (careful and persistent work and effort) in the Lord.:).
