Paul was addressing the Jews. Who were clinging to the Old testament law and believed in righteousness by works , rejecting the Gospel of Christ. James was referring to Faith without works is dead. For By Grace(greek word charis: benevolent influence of God , favor ) are ye saved( Greek word sozo : rescued from danger , destruction , made safe )thru Faith ( Greek word : pistis : referring to Christ , a strong and welcome conviction or belief that Jesus is the Messiah through whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of God ) and that not of yourselves (Greek word hymon , You ! ) it is the gift ( Greek word : for on , sacrifice to God ) of God . Most will not attack new people.
It's those that have developed their malice against others that they dis-agree with on an issue to the point where they attack and mis-represent what others are saying that will have their posts and character attacked. It's the way of the flesh and these are no different then those that are living a homosexual lifestyle. They are in the same lists as works of the flesh. ....and we all need to be watchful of it.
Those walking in the malice of their flesh - we just ignore and leave them in the hands of the Lord. We don't fall for their "baiting" as it's purpose is just to cause strife and division. Paul says to "mark" them and avoid them in Rom. 16:17

You need reading glasses. The post I commented on he. Said that God called people in the Bible sinless, but God didn't. He called them blameless and there is a difference between the two.
.it's important to make the distinction between sinless and blameless.
If you go back through the chat history, I NEVER ACCUSED ANYONE OF TEACHING SINLESS PERFECTION.
I clearly state what i believe and why.
.it's not my job to monitor others beliefs.
If you want to throw me into a nice box and pretend you know what I believe that is your progative.
.However placing people in a "group" and labeling them and assuming everyone agrees on every issue is why no communication happens....
Folks don't listen...they are too busy telling others what the other person really thinks.
My point before folks falsely assumed I ACCUSED someone of teaching sinless perfection is that we should instead teach what it means to be blameless in the eyes of God.

I have only seen one or maybe 2 that have this "sinless perfection in the flesh" false doctrine on CC.
I have however seen a few "accuse" others of things and completely mis-represented what they were saying and no matter how many times they are told the truth - they continue to say the complete opposite of what others are really saying.
This kind of deceitfulness ironically condemns the very ones exhibiting this kind of behavior and the things they accuse others are doing - like "loving sinning and defending sinning" - are the ones that are actually engaging in sinning themselves. Their own religion condemns them. Go figure...
