I pray we are as diligent and steadfast in reconciling men and lifting up Jesus to men as we are in winning this fictitious prize. Paul said to run the race to win it. But that was based on a guaranteed prize. What happens when we run the race to win it when we are guaranteed a lose? Are we running in vain? Or are we running to win a different prize? ....In other words we gain as we invest in people, but we fain if we gather moss. Unless you get paid to gather moss, but I was trying to be philosophical there. Wait, a bird also gathers moss for their nests, or if you are a moss enthusiast and president or member of the Club for Moss Lover's. Ok, I digress, "We gain if we invest in people in fellowship, but we are waisting time if we do something to win for losing." Hmmm that sounds familiar, can anyone give me an cross reference in Scripture than says the same thing? Without posting it so I still win! ? Smile.

just realized this isn't the "post something random thread" and I thought it was temporarily lol!
It would be a problem for me, you see, if I wore mine in the shower! Or when I got my hair cut, or when I had brain surgery, which, thank God hasn't been necessary so far. Smile. How about the wind in hurricanes, do you glue it too? Smile.

So, very interesting phenomenon happened to me today, my own car... which is a Ford Escort doesn't really run right now... and only drives on 2 gears... When it's supposed to run on 4. So my mechanic said he would take a look at it tomorrow (when the car has been broken down for a month) and I've been driving this loaner car this whole month. Well... today on my way home... this loaner car decides to vibrate really bad... and it only does it when I go above 50 mph.... and MY own car wouldn't change gears after it hit 45mph. So my theory here is... am I not supposed to drive cars period anymore and just be taken places now? Or do I just have this much bad luck with cars???

As MEAN as that was.... I couldn't help but laugh... cause that's something my own family would say to me....
im not a horrible driver. Been driving for 8 years now. And the wrecks I've been in HAVE NOT been my fault! Ugh... I hate cars, I hate car problems... and I hate how much everything costs when you HAVE to fix a car as transportation!!
