The problem is Christ made the sacrificial system null and void after 3.5 years, when he was crucified. So what do you do with the other 3.5 years.

I've heard all sorts of nonsense on that one.
The bible doesn't say seven years, it says 1 week. I don't what the week means, I seriously doubt it's seven years.

How much time was there between the triumphal entry and resurrection?

Daniel 9 says HE shall CONFIRM the covenant with the many.
Two questions:

1) Who is the "he" in Dan 9:27?

I believe it refers to "the prince that shall come". The messiah was discussed in v25-26, and then "the prince that shall come" is mentioned. I believe that person is different from the messiah. I believe he is the antichrist. He will initially be seen as a "savior" of sorts, and will set up a covenant of peace, which he will then break half way through the seven year trib.

2) "CONFIRM the covenant". I believe your insistence on sticking with the KJV is harming your understanding. Nearly every other translation says that "a" covenant shall be confirmed, or words to that effect. It does not have to be an existing covenant.

A covenant existed before HE came, his coming confirmed -(etablished the truth or correctness of) the covenant when he came.

God promised Abraham that in his seed, all the world would be blessed.... speaking of Christ. When Christ came, that CONFIRMED the promise God made to Abraham.
Are you saying Christ broke the covenant 3 1/2 years after it was confirmed? I hope not..

I found this on a website can't comfirm right now. But it says it was ONE week from the triumphal entry to the crucifixion.... maybe this is the one week Daniel 9:27 is talking about, I don't know.

Today we celebrate the day called “Palm Sunday,” the day of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem one week prior to his crucifixion and death. In case some of you are wondering why this is called “Palm Sunday”, it’s because according to the Gospel of John the crowds in Jerusalem came out to greet Jesus carrying palm branches, which they either waved or strewed in his path.

The he is Jesus.

In the other translations that say "a" covenant shall be confirmed, which covenant was confirmed? How do you confirm something that doesn't exist previous to the confirmation?

Put this verse in your own words.

Galatians 3:17 KJV
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Who said Jesus returned in AD 70? Who said we are past the 1000 year reign?

We disagree.

In the other translations that say "a" covenant shall be confirmed, which covenant was confirmed?
The one that will be set in place.

How do you confirm something that doesn't exist previous to the confirmation?
You put it in place, and then confirm it.

Again, are you saying Christ broke the covenant 3 1/2 years after it was confirmed? I hope not.. But if that is what you believe, how did Christ break the covenant he came to confirm?

I missed this part earlier. Christ didn't make a covenant with anybody, God made a covenant with Abraham and Christ confirmed that covenant when he came. Paul tells us Christ confirmed the Abrahamic covenant.

Galatians 3:17 KJV
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

We can disagree, I'm not going to change your mind and your not going to change mine, only God does that. :)

Does the doctors office call you to confirm the appointment that you haven't made yet or do you make your appointment and later your doctor calls to cofirm that you are still coming to your appointment.

KJV1611 believes Dan 9:27 is speaking of Jesus Christ, not me. I believe it is speaking of the antichrist.

As far as 3 1/2 years in:

Dan 9:
27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The middle of a "week" of seven years is 3 1/2 years.

The covenant that God made with Abraham, which was confirmed when Jesus ate with Abraham, that he should be the father of Israel, cannot be affected or annulled by the Mosaic Covenant. If it could, then the promise would be dead, as where would Christ have come from?

Ate with Abraham lol. Abraham was the father of Israel and MANY other nations. Do you see my point? The Abrahamic covenant was confirmed by Christ.

God does not make people change their minds. If he did, we would all believe the same (correct) things.

1 Cor 1:10) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Tim 2:
4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

They can make and confirm an appointment in the same call.

or do you make your appointment and later your doctor calls to cofirm that you are still coming to your appointment.
Yep, that happens too. :)
