I found this interesting because I just planted a fruit tree and my husband said to pick off the blossoms so it wouldn't produce fruit and get stronger roots and be a healthier tree. (as is normal...he is right again. Lol)
I think there is a parallel in how is we force baby Christians to produce fruit without strong roots in Christ and His love and acceptance, they are weaker and more prone to attack and disease and produce less fruit.
Than if we listened to God's advice, which to me would be a 3 year discipleship, 1 year internship before expecting new Christian to "produce fruit" that can be seen and "eaten" by others.

No body doubts this, denies this or argues against this....we have all stated it......James was clear....
a. Faith saves
b. Faith that saves will produce<---the works are the result....not the root cause
PAUL was clear as well...
a. FAITH ALONE saves
b. ANY WORK produced is the result of faith....
AT the end of the day....faith and faith alone into the finished work of Christ is what saves......we have been saved UNTO good works....the works are the result of salvation....they do not save, keep saved and or embellish salvation....
AMEN....an oak takes 20 to 25 years to produce and an apple 2 to 4 or so.............some trees bi-yearly and some may produce this year and then go years due to drought, disease etc. and not produce for numerous years and then have a bumper crop.....yet the tree is from the moment is sprouts from seed (birth, word, water of the word) and then through a process of growth and maturity produce......
AMEN.....same with tomatoes......keep pinching the first sets of blossoms and the "sucker" branches and it will produce bigger and tastier fruit..........

Did not know that,thanks lol.
That may explain why the first blossoms of the tomato plants sometimes just dropped off..,must be God doing it.
--Love can also be defined or expounded as the good works done in obedience to the will and commandments of God thru faith.
I find it very odd how some would insist that works of righteousness or of any sort done with faith cannot save nor maintain salvation while they themselves posts scriptures that says: To believe in the Son is the WORK THAT GOD REQUIRES for men to do.
And to love one another is certainly just the same a good work.
If to believe in the one that God has sent is a work, does it mean that those who believe will go to hell accdg to those who teach that FAITH ALONE SAVES (VOID OF WORKS)?
John 6:28-29 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “the work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
And this is his command: TO BELIEVE in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER as he commanded us. Those who OBEY HIS COMMANDS live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.(1 john 3:23-24)

Whilst i agrree that denominations have there floors it doesnt make them children of satan.......... i think thats a bit harsh.......
Sorry but make absolutely no sense at all.
If you want engage then I encourage you to write in a way that people can understand then can engage.
off course that depends on whether you want to engage or just tell and impose, which seems to be the case given your above post that quite frankly I can't see how it relates to enhances this thread.
You should write science fiction novels.....or maybe take a job with National Enquirer Spongebob....this does not even get close to passing the smell test and makes me think of a layer of mold on a plate of food that got pushed to the back of the fridge and was forgotten for a month.....about as poisonous as well........spiritually lacking diatribe.................
You are painting the picture that its always are past hurts that get in our way that makes us react the way do...
Or comment the way we comment.. or dismiss your walk and the words of the bible etc...
But what im saying is have you ever considered that it could be the enemy reminding us of our past hurts... coz i allready said most would want to forgive given the oppertutunity or have forgiven.. but the enemy hates it when you forgive and then reminds you of the hurt you once suffered. so its not all self inflicted like you say it is..

This is a works we must do and that is follow him daily.. not weekly or once in a blue moon but daily.
