What is refeed day.

It's where you eat all you want of anything you want. ( It's the not too well known 11th commandment...lol )

I eat all week very healthy to burn fat and in order to keep the "fat burning" mechanism on - we need to have one day full of calories and fat and carbs.

The body is wired to store fat. There is a hormone called "leptin" and when it gets down to about the 50% level - it tells your body to store fat no matter how little you eat. This usually happens in the 6th or 7th day of eating low carbs and calories.

This "refeed day" resets the body to start using fat again as a fuel source and thus no plateaus occur. I have lost over 60 lbs of fat doing this in the last 10 months or so. It has become a lifestyle now and it is really effortless. One of the fruit of the spirit is "self-control".

I say to the Lord on Friday mornings "What should we eat today Lord? - He says 'What ever we want!" He gets a kick out of "refeed day"....:)

Thank you for the good information. I will look into the practice.

I asked the Lord for "the way" that I was to go last year and that is what He brought to me. "Your way" may be different but the Lord will be faithful to all of us wherever we are at.

(PS. I love your signature truths. All good stuff!)

Oh my gosh that was so much fun, afterwards I met up with a friend at her place and had a drink and met up with friends and played games and cuddled with my beau until one this morning. Let me tell you I haven't been this relaxed in a long time

Anyone know where the saying Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition comes from?

Just wanted to share. Was recently visited by 3 biblical characters (for paint quotes), lol :)

Daniel
Jesus (he pronounces it Hesuse)
Angel

One kept flaking, one came through in the end, and the other was too expensive.

Thankfully the real Jesus never lets us down :)

Hebrews 13:5: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Not to be petty, but I do understand Demi about being attacked on this forum because you are "too young to understand".
