I am an evangelical charismatic christian.
I believe in repenting of our sins, confessing our sins to Christ and asking for forgiveness through the cross.
I trust in Christ and His death on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins
I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and His ministry in my life
I believe we can walk in righteousness, holiness and purity
I believe in the authority of scripture as our highest authority
I believe the Holy Spirit guides us, convicts us of sin and helps us in our
daily lives.
I believe we are predistined before time to be in the Kingdom of heaven
I believe in faith we bring heaven to earth in walking by the Spirit
I believe are hearts are born in love and get closed down by hurt
I believe Christ opens us up through His words and gives us communion which
empowers our walk with Him to abide daily, hourly through hard and good times
I believe the sermon on the mount applies to us now, and we need to obey and follow Jesus in everything.
I believe we have the assurance of salvation through the presence of the Holy Spirit ministering to our spirits.
I believe when we are born again, we are total new creations with the potential to walk in the Kingdom of heaven which we then need to exercise.
I believe we are remade through obedience and sanctification in our walk with the Lord, the old being remade into the new.
Above all love should rule our hearts in righteousness and justice.
Hope this helps, God bless![]()
A lot of good stuff mixed with dashes of incomprehensible toppings.
One thing I didn't hear, and maybe just an oversight on your part, is that you believe Jesus is God Himself in the flesh.
Do you believe that?
where have i been a hiporcrit and when ?....I think you mean sanctimonious...
The reason I said earlier that I'm not sure if these works people are lost is because of the prodigal son parable.
The younger son THOUGHT that he had lost his sonship (salvation). In his case because of his actions (sins). Maybe the reverse is true as well.
The older son was angry that the younger was welcomed home. HE had done all the work required to keep his sonship.
So maybe these works to maintain salvation people, that have confessed Jesus as Lord, and believe in their heart that God the Father raised Him from the grave, are like the older son,
I don't know. I could be wrong. But I DO know that we need to love them regardless.
I always thought them more to be the younger brother.
My family wife and kids have walked well in the Lord and have grown in faith.
A walk rejecting faith, is where you have a belief but live purely based on ones
own needs with no reference to God. The idea of loving someone just causes confusion.
People are like you or not worth talking to.
My mother has lived her whole life like this, though she went to church most of it.
Life for her is a fearfull walk of defeat and performance, where you make the
best of a difficult situation. Everything is a burden, and there is little joy except
for social adulation. This is a very barren place, especially if you meet a whole
society of people caught like this.
My granny had a living faith, and she was my light in the early years.
So if you gain faith but do not walk it, love gets frozen out and ones heart never
comes to life properly. I now wonder how this happens, but really it is we who have
the light who can help shine the way, and call people deeper and further along.
Your flesh has to become pure too... starting with the heart... a works.Yeah... I think it can work that way to. But the point is if they believe the Gospel, and have accepted Jesus, then they aren't lost. Just walking in the flesh and not the Spirit.
God does that... replaces our heart of stone with one of flesh... gives us the desires of our hearts... changes us by putting a new Spirit in us... changes what we desire... this has been pointed out to you before... why do you keep rejecting it?Your flesh has to become pure too... starting with the heart... a works.
did i say giving us a new heart is a pure heart... geezers....God does that... replaces our heart of stone with one of flesh... gives us the desires of our hearts... changes us by putting a new Spirit in us... changes what we desire... this has been pointed out to you before... why do you keep rejecting it?

Lord I Need You
A common idea, is when someone makes a statement, it is assumed to mean
what the reader assumes it to mean. After much experience here and people who
read in miles to much in, it is important to clarify what people actually mean.
I have noticed some claim to speak on behalf of everyone else rather than
just themselves. Odd behaviour when we are just individuals here.
If one assumes something that is wrong, if one asks that is wrong. I suspect
for some being present is wrong lol![]()

Which is why we need to be very careful before we respond to an individual post.
Lets be honest given this post is 431 pages long that is a lot of posts.
Given that there are posters who have made many many posts (of which I am one) I would have thought that we woukd have an inkling of how they may interpret what we are saying. Paradigms get in the way.
We need to say what we mean to say in a way that firstly firstly does not but heckles up and in a way that doesn't need clarifying because we clarify it before posting.
To me it's engaging rather than accusing and name calling and going at each other.
There have been a few posts where people have felt that because someone disagrees then the person who is disagreeing is saying to the other person you are not a genuine believer and is going to hell.
Yet this is not what the other person is saying but they haven't clarified that.
So if a person has stated that they feel your saying this and this is what they are hearing when responding to a post we need to ensure that is not what we are saying.
Its been mentioned on here a few times about the foundation of Christ and what is then built on that. Works tested and useless works burnt but salvation safe.
What i I find intersting is that those who believe this have asked for those who don't believer this as to reasons why. Yet no answer is forthcoming. If there has been I have obviously missed it.
