The above post is you patting yourself on the back again, correct? Of course it is.

As much as you fabricate untruths on others in here, and call them lost, the above post is of a certainty not descriptive of you.
I do not call people lost.
I do suggest that holding certain positions indicate a lack of spiritual experience.

There is always a dilemma in preaching. To have people come to Christ they have
to know whether they know Christ or not. Only the readers can discern for themselves
their walk with the Lord, it is not for me to say where anyone is.

And Praise the Lord, I do not have to defend myself, read what I share, and the reader
can decide what I intend or not.

If anyone just wants to label another as a fabricater of untruths, you actually need to
say what you are talking about, or else this is just slander.

What saddens me is the propensity of some to take a simple encouragement against
condemnation and turn it into condemnation. Are the blind really this blind, that even
good encouragement is felt to be evil? If I was not filled with Christs love I would go
off and be depressed, but praise the Lord, through the cross he redeemed those who
have faith in Him and walk in His love amen. Will you join us p4t?
I am sure you will find a blessing in this. God bless you, Halleluyah, Amen.

Imagine you see a statement from someone.
The statement is a good approximation of an important point, but you know the
individual and you do not like them or their style. So why not read in an evil
stance, a sense of hypocracy, and finish off with pride and arrogance.

This is not difficult to do. In the flesh the world teaches almost everyone how
to do it, it is common practise in the work place, and even at home.

In Christ we are actually meant to think the best of others, to see their strengths,
and not chop them down to size, but see a good contribution is worthy of encouragement
and praise.

A good test of this is to think of 10 positive things someone has brought in a post.
After you have done this long enough, it will become automatic.

You will be surprised how in the flesh we can find 10 negative things about
everything without even trying. It is how we are programmed by the world.
So thankyou for teaching me how to appreciate negative criticism and see its
upbuilding effects in keeping me humble and aware of how much there is still
to do. Amen and God bless you.

I was touched by your testimony. You went to seminary, but something must have changed
to turn you into this christian fighting beast? How would you now think of your former self
and what would you say to him now if you could meet him?

And now you're lying. Several on this forum have called you out for calling others lost. John 3:7.
My friend. I know you read in a lot of things I do not intend, so humbly
can you show me.

I will honestly say anyone who from my contributions says I am sinning,
slandering and lying has some serious spiritual issues in their life.
I say this because I am very tame, and say almost everything based on scripture
or teachings from over many years.

I have seen bullies before and those who have been corrupted. They tend to pick on
the people who are obvious targets and they think are soft. I am target number one
for most because I am honest and open, and desire to really know people and simple
share where we are. I took a personality profile questionaire and I was ranked as
a open target to be a victim of certain types because I did not fight back.

Some actually described me as so laid back I was asleep. It comes from surviving
be de-stressing and dwelling in things I love.

So I am interested in you accusing me of sinning, because I cannot repent of something
I am not aware of. And I do apologise if I have spoken something that is not true, because
honestly I try very hard never to do this.

I would confess though this continual non-christian false accusations does make one wonder
who these "believers" are and who they are following. I know for instance a few who
theologically I would not necessarily agree with, but I know their hearts, and truly I know
they share my love of Christ. I do not know you p4t or would I trust you from how you
talk, which is unfortunate, but why should I?

We have enough witnesses to attest to it without digging through old posts. I've seen you do it by implication and just straight out saying it.

John 3:7
You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

We are born of the Holy Spirit of life from on High amen, glory to God,
the Lord of Hosts.

By their fruit you shall know them, by the words and ideas that flow from
their hearts. The ability to tear down, mock, ridicule, slander, accuse,
wind up, humiliate, condemn, bring low does not make you a follower
of Christ.

To see in difficulty love, to know suffering yet bring healing, in difficulty
to see Jesus carrying the cross before you, then my friend you see Christ
and where His footsteps have trodden.

Corrie ten boom went to the concentration camps of the Nazi's and in that
hell hole brought Christ, love and grace to a place of desperation, where
people accepted the consequences of sin, yet know love still overcomes,
giving to another when you have almost nothing is the preciousness of
love and God at work despite mens sin and hatred. Halleluyah, He took
so much to bring us life, Glory to the Name of Jesus.

you mean the way you mock grace7, e.g. myself , d.c.,, when, though I am not that good. the others are very solid brothers in Christ, and you try ( and fail ) to tear apart what they say every day.

not very Christ-like to attack the truth they post because truth hurts your precious feelings and emotions.

Ok forthangel. Show me. You say I have said people are not saved, show me.
By the way, if someone denies their own faith, or the character of Christ are they
saved or not? If from the fountain of their heart they curse Gods work, are they
saved or not?

The problem with truth, it might be true, but looking at the implications might be
too dangerous for some. How is it a preacher can preach for a lifetime and not
know Christ?

I know a vicar of a church I grew up with, who at the end of his ministry did not
know whether he was buddhist or hindu or christian. I could not say whether he
was "saved" but he had no active relationship with Christ.

So please show me.

I would have no problem with myself then or now.....What you fail to understand is that the only thing I vehemently oppose are those who teach things that lead to error and or the proverbial lake-o-fire.......and I cannot stand those who will twist, lie, embellish what one states in order to make themselves look right at the expense of the truth of what was said by the one being falsely quoted......I am a nice guy, love the truth and witness to everyone that I get a chance to.....so....take out of this what you choose.

On a side note, being told I am leading people to hell, and going to hell myself,
implies I do not know Christ.

Or being told I do not know Gods love, or that I should not pray to Christ because
I am not praying to Christ, makes me realise how some feel in their hearts.

So I find this rather ironic, being told such things from people who regard me
badly, but for no good reason except some emotional conviction.

My friend. The problem is simple. I may say something, you can take the wrong
way, not as I intended, and come back with a big rebuff, and up goes the polarised
discussion.

Now twisting things unfortunately has many meanings. What do you feel I am twisting?
I ask because some I know appear to express the same theology as myself yet with a
small change make things mean something else.

Now I work from looking at peoples hearts more than there doctrine. You know for instance
your bond with your son is a love relationship, and you know each other through this more
than ideas. I have found God works more like this than crossing t's and dotting I's, so I
am interested in how this became so confrontational. Are you a southern Baptist etc.
and everything is ship shape etc.? ( sorry I do not know texas culture or ways, only London
and our lax easy going style )

no, I don't think you notice anything except expressing your thoughts and your precious emotions. you have no interest in anything that is not in lock-step with your ( laughable ) belief system, and instead of engaging , you just attack, slander , and outright lie about what others are saying.
ok, but this is just slander, ridicule, personality assassination as well as saying I am lying. This is the beginning of real hatred, and bitterness, but about what?
You are calling the gospel a laughable belief system.
Not trying to win friends and influence people then, lol. So apostate, have a nice day,
and God bless you, in whatever you do.
Makes me wonder when the pitch forks and burnings are going to begin?
Funny this. You are saying the gospel I share is laughable.
Another post you say 60% of it is wrong.

So I am meant to call you a brother and we have fellowship.

This is typical of someone who only sees themselves as saved, can
destroy anothers position openly and then is suprised they call them
an apostate.

Now I stand by this assessment. You cannot disown other believers
without realising they will do the same thing back at you.

In Christ we are either a body, loving, one mind in Christ or we are
following a different views of the christian faith, which is fine, but this
is not fellowship in the biblical way I see it.

And I am not going to honour people who disown the faith so abruptly.

It is up to each person to decide where they stand, but walking in obedience
to Christ is our calling empowered by the Holy Spirit to know His love
and righteousness flowing from us. If I deny this I deny the work Christ has
done in me. So I just praise the Lord, and stand by this position, which is
a valid response to such an attack.

Let me make things very simple.
A theological stand or position is not exclusive to any group.
It is founded on certain assumptions and interpretations of scripture.

The whole reason for a forum is to be able to show which are good sound logical
and faithful positions and which not. Now because of the open nature of cc we will
disagree. Some want to take this disagreement and make it personal fueld by strong
emotion. This is unfortunately an indoctrination approach and does not work on people
who know how it works.

And the most unfortunate thing is some try and use it all the time.
Now if I spot a logical flaw or theological failure in a position and the intention of the
group is to dominate with this theology, it is no surprise I will oppose it.

This is what the nature of these discussions and forums is for.
It sounds to me like you do not like the conclusions that are coming out, and think
because it feels bad for ideas you hold dear, I should not share them.

As one member is so keen on reminding everybody, the religious teachings some have
make them react badly when they hear the truth, but that is to be expected.

We are talking about the Lord of Hosts and His word, the creator of the universe.
There are many millions who follow the Lord, who would share what I share, and point
out realities that are written in His word. So I say Amen, and Praise the Lord for His
truth. May we bow our knees before the King and honour Him, for He is our Lord and
Saviour, Amen.

A problem of truth

"I am the way, the truth and the Life, no man comes to the father but by me."

Jesus was profound when he said this.
He is saying everything has to be sort out and found to be true, and tested.

It is by doing this you will find the truth in Him.

Lord, remember David
and all his self-denial.
2 He swore an oath to the Lord,
he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “I will not enter my house
or go to my bed,
4 I will allow no sleep to my eyes
or slumber to my eyelids,
5 till I find a place for the Lord,
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6 We heard it in Ephrathah,
we came upon it in the fields of Jaar:[a]
7 “Let us go to his dwelling place,
let us worship at his footstool, saying,
8 ‘Arise, Lord, and come to your resting place,
you and the ark of your might.
9 May your priests be clothed with your righteousness;
may your faithful people sing for joy.’”
10 For the sake of your servant David,
do not reject your anointed one.
11 The Lord swore an oath to David,
a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants
I will place on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant
and the statutes I teach them,
then their sons will sit
on your throne for ever and ever.”
13 For the Lord has chosen Zion,
he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,
14 “This is my resting place for ever and ever;
here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.
15 I will bless her with abundant provisions;
her poor I will satisfy with food.
16 I will clothe her priests with salvation,
and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.
17 “Here I will make a horn grow for David
and set up a lamp for my anointed one.
18 I will clothe his enemies with shame,
but his head will be adorned with a radiant crown.”
Psalm 132
