The first known metal trumpets can be traced back to around 1500BC. Bro....with all due respect you really miss the mark and don't know much....the bolded proves this....I suggest a topical and contextual study of the words Saint and Elect<---be honest, humble yourself and receive the word! The words equate to the following....and a complete, honest study will reveal the following.
a. The word SAINT is applied unto the believer in Christ and equates to the holiness of Christ having been applied by faith and blood to a believer. It is indicative of our stance in Christ as HOLY. The application of the word is applied by saving faith and at the moment one is BORN AGAIN of the SPIRIT as a child of GOD.
b. The word ELECT is applied unto the believer in Christ and is indicative of being CHOSEN in CHRIST. For the record, the bible also makes it clear that we were CHOSEN in him before the foundation of the world was laid.
SAINT-->HOLY ONE in CHRIST
ELECT-->CHOSEN IN CHRIST

If salvation is a race, like a marathon, the promise is you will have enough support
to make it over the line, and training and encouragement.
Until you actually go over the line it is still just a promise not delivered.
Scripture is confusing because it switches going from death to life, being a new
creation, being a branch in the vine, then the parables of service of investing
of getting a return, of seeds growing into plants and producing a harvest, of
sowing and reaping, of walking to the end, of a day of labour were each receives
the same payment no matter how long they have laboured for.
So once you start the relationship, this is heaven and continues into eternity,
unless you drift off or fail to invest and give. The elect are those who cross
the line.
Paul talks of investing in churches and peoples faith and it either being in
vain or not. He felt if they stayed true to the end, it was not in vain, if they
drifted off it certainly was in vain.
Now this is a short precise but if you know scripture you know what I am saying
is true. But how honest are you about Gods word? I hope the Holy Spirit in you
witnesses to the truth of His word, or my optimism in so many is diminishing.

How did Abraham prove his faith in God?
He offered up Isaac as a sacrifice.

Nothing in faith is just known and certain, it will be tested.

Ok ive prayed and this came to me ... To be saved.. is to be rescued from the clutches of darkness..(no mistaken that)..
However there are many more who are like you or i and not saved so therefor why should they be underserving Of God loves if you go back to being a villian again.. ?..
Because God willed it or would that be the mentality of someone who asumes hes saved no matter what..
