I know....of course the bible out of context and while ignoring verb tense can be twisted to teach this folly.......Once one actually trusts Christ....my bible teaches me that NOTHING can separate me from the love of Christ and that JESUS will finish what he started.....

If what they push is true....they themselves are lost, everyone is lost and no one will be in heaven...one sin is all it takes...!
And you lack comprehension.

and you seem to forget that all ( including you ) have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.

" there is no one good, but one, that is God " - Jesus to the rich young ruler.

there is dozens more examples of no one being sinless ( except Jesus ).

want some more? or will you just tell the truth. to yourself.

Oooohhhh good come back.....bravo......another cake taker.......

So genius....what does the word NOTHING mean?

I can comprehend NOTHING just fine.....and the BIBLE states...NOTHING shall separate me from the LOVE of Christ....

SO....EXPLAIN the word NOTHING....here I will help....

Original Word: οὐδείς, οὐδεμία, οὐδέν
Part of Speech: Adjective
Transliteration: oudeis and outheis, oudemia, ouden and outhen
Phonetic Spelling: (oo-dice')
Short Definition: no one, none, nothing
Definition: no one, none, nothing.

3762 /oudeís ("no one, nothing at all") is a powerful negating conjunction. It rules out by definition, i.e. "shuts the door" objectively and leaves no exceptions. 3762 (oudeís) is deductive in force so it excludes every (any) example that is included withing the premise (supposition).

It seems the only one lacking comprehension and the ability to reason Chris....is you!

Unbelief can separate you from Christ. Would you agree or disagree?

I'm not sure you are even on the same page of the discussion. What point are you making? When have I ever said that anyone other than Jesus is sinless? Feel free to scroll back and copy paste my comments. Until then, don't fabricate what I think. Because you are not following the thread properly.

OK let me rephrase to help your comprehension. After one believes, and then falls into unbelief......can this person be separated from God?

I am amazed at people who think they are so righteous they are equal with God.. You would think the pharisee spirit would get people attention to stay away from those thoughts. But sadly, We still have them.

NOTHING = NOT ONE THING

IF we believe NOT, he ABIDES FAITHFUL because HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF <---THIS is SPOKEN and directed at BELIEVERS and falls under the banner of

NOTHING (NOT ONE THING) can separate us from the LOVE of CHRIST and HE WILL FINISH what HE STARTED!

SEE...the problem is simple....you cannot honestly address the word NOTHING as applied above....why....because it destroys and negates your ideology......end of story!

Someone who has faith in someone who NEVER lets them down, Will NEVER return to a point of unbelief.

It is easy to think one can stop believing in God. Because men let us down, We have faith in then, They let us down, and we after a few times, we stop trusting in them.

God never lets us down, If you claim you have faith in him, an later fall from that faith (deny him) you never had faith to begin with..

John puts it prety bluntly.

They (those who fell into unbelief and became against Christ) departed from us, FOR THEY WERE NEVER OF US, for if they were truly of us THEY NEVER WOULD HAVE LEFT.

I think instead of trying to figure out what God says, Just trust his word.. And another suggestion is to stop trying to look at God like we look at humans..

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
Eph 4:15

These contributors ignore the above.

These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.
Jude 1:12

This is probably a closer description of their style and approach.
The remind me of the ring wraths of Lord of the Rings.

Well there is ample evidence of falling away. And ample evidence these were Christian believers at one point in time.

[SUP]2 Thess 2v3,7[/SUP]
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin[SUP][b][/SUP] is revealed, the son of perdition,
[SUP]7 [/SUP]For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He[SUP][d][/SUP] who now restrains will do so until He[SUP][e][/SUP] is taken out of the way.

[SUP]2 Peter 2[/SUP]
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. [SUP]21 [/SUP]For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. [SUP]22 [/SUP]But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,”[SUP][e][/SUP] and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Hebrews 6
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]5 [/SUP]and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, [SUP]6 [/SUP]if they fall away,[SUP][b][/SUP] to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Hebrews 10
[SUP]26 [/SUP]For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, [SUP]27 [/SUP]but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. [SUP]29 [/SUP]Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? [SUP]30 [/SUP]For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[SUP][e][/SUP] says the Lord.[SUP][f][/SUP] And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”[SUP][g][/SUP] [SUP]31 [/SUP]It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Buy the way it's not about belief folks. James said..
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder.
We don't teach the Good News of the Kingdom after coming to the knowledge of the Cross. Don't forget the cross or the zeal for the resurrection of the dead. Move on past childish things and yes on to rightousness in practice and be made into one people as Messiah comes to maturity in us together. Deacons should be led by the spirit and thus above reproach in regards to the knowledge of the word.

How long are we going to trust in men and despise the instruction of Elohim and Messiah? Kingdom principal is not Jewish or Baptist friends it is Instruction with no condemnation. It is the no condemnation part our religious have stumbled. They move the marker stones and by their fleshly perspective seek heavenly ordinance. They will perish in their sin as Sadusees. If you are sad because of sin you will rejoice. Though sin is housed inside your flesh you have been born of Elohim to guard His command and testimonies of Messiah. As such we are not only called by witnesses to the cross and resurrection of Messiah. We are also called to teach the Kingdom rightousness of the Instruction of Elohim. This we know is made for the wicked and deceptive men teach it is a curse because they are cursed for ignoring Elohim and hating His wisdom. Do not think He came to abolish the Torah of Elohim. He filled it making a new man to those who have heard. Hearing should lead us to obey out of love and through practice gaining understanding not perfection because we are perfected through love not obedience. Elohim despised those who ignore wisdom and scorns His way. He bestows favor and love on those who seek heavenly ordinance of Elohim Messiah through love of Torah. Torahlessness will be punished with drinking wormwood and I tell you they already drink it on both sides.

It is an interesting point.

How can people be saved if they loose their faith?
The promises are for those who actively believe, not those who have given up
and shrivelled away. The promises are always in the present tense, you gain life
eternal by believing, but it does not say, at some point in your life.

If you do not believe when Christ returns all is lost. How could it be otherwise?

Spiritual blindness is so strong because we want so badly the solution to be as we
have it, because emotionally anything else is very upsetting.

Just feel free to continue in iniquity, without repentance, and see how long it takes for you to quench the Spirit and move into unbelief.

The jews tried this and failed.

Try loving others, like God loved you. And all these things will be added to you. and you will fulfill all things also.

I am afraid as people we stick to much emphasis on laws and regulations and religion and tradition and etc etc.

And not enough on, Ok, who is around me today that I can serve, Who needs my love, Who is God trying to bring to me to serve me. Who is around me who needs god.

If we did more of this, and less focus on things which only cause us to focus on self (laws etc) we will be so much more like Christ, So much more blessed. and so much less self righteous and proud .

It's because of this:

[SUP]2 Thess 2v7 [/SUP]For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work;

1 John 3
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. [SUP]5 [/SUP]And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. [SUP]6 [/SUP]Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

We are in essence here having a debate about sin. I'm saying you cannot peacefully coexist with Christ and your sin. You cannot serve two masters. You will love one and hate the other. If you sin, you need to repent. Without a heart of repentance (a change of mind towards sin), and live by the Spirit, putting to death the misdeeds of the body - YOU WILL DIE. You will think you have Christ but you don't.

My detractors say its all "ok". No more harm can come our way once we believe Christ. And they are right. But they are also wrong. Because to believe Christ is more than a simple confession. It's also making Him Lord. Loving Him. And loving Him means obedience. And its this part that they violently reject as works. They are happy with justification, but don't really want any part of sanctification.
