Went grocery shopping today. Got back home just before my blue butterfly cart arrived. Now I have to assemble it.. UGH. Bought some k-cups for my new Keurig coffee maker. I got chocolate glazed donut, kahlua, and mocha flavors.. I even found a lucky penny in Price Chopper.
I got to ride the bus for free today. The fare box wouldn't take my dollar. Apparently the bus company has a new rule regarding the fare boxes. If they don't take your dollar, you ride for free.
He is scary ... and his opponent even more so
but I assume you do have some people in government who do know how to think rationally that will keep him from doing too rash things
I hardly ever saw any actually LOLOLOL. They hid very well in the woods, apparently But yeah, mostly white ones were shown to us An interesting aside here is that one time when I was back in my province of origin, Ontario, I went to my father's grave site with my mother. I had never seen the grave plate before, and was shocked to recognize my new home province of British Columbia's official flower on it (the dogwood). I have no idea who chose that or why, because my dad had never been out here. I came out west forty years ago, about half a year before he passed away ... Dogwood trees are gorgeous when the flowers are in bloom

we have pink dogwoods too, some of them almost red
i've always lived with cats, and also always with these trees - which were endangered for a while in the Appalachians. all my cats have always loved to climb on them, moreso than most other trees. i think their size and the way their branches spread makes them good cat-scale trees. but never once have i ever seen a dog even remotely interested in them. so i don't know why people call them dogwoods -- catwoods, more like it, and i'm sticking to my story
trilliums aren't easy to find, even in the thick woods here they are semi-rare. post's wife and he spent friday at a botanical garden in Clemson taking photos, and that's where the trillium picture i posted came from ♥
Managed to round up the trash, do my dishes, clean out the cat's potty box and check my mail. It's raining and we're supposed to get thunder boomers tonight and tomorrow..
