Lemme tell y'all something I can't find in the Hyp******e theology..... someone who can biblically explain how they can, or feel obliged to, grow up in their relationship.

Since after conversion:

  • no more conviction - of sin leading to repentance, or of righteousness, the "positive" side of conviction, so never again will the christian feel bad for the sin they're committing, or know if they are sinning, or feel the urge to step up in maturity
  • no more repentance of sin.
  • All future sin forgiven automatically, so no conviction or repentance is necessary,
How then does one grow up? It's only the Holy Spirit's leading that we can realized we sinned or that we lack anything, only His leading that shows us the need by conviction to live righteously.

How then does a believer under Hyp******e get from point A to B? You cant say by hearing or reading the Word, for only the Holy Spirit can convict us to live righteously.

Sure, He could give knowledge & understanding, but what good is that when there's no will, no zeal, no drive to use it?

And why have zeal or drive at all to do better or more for God when "it's not about works", & you know you don't have to do anything else because you're future's already forgiven & your salvation is permanently secure?

Careful, now..... you can't say you can take this knowledge & wisdom & use it yourself..... that's self-righteousness.

So how does a Hyp******e believer grow at all? They do claim to be complete from day one of conversion..... so they don't need growth?

I've found no one able to tell me how they can.

Someone enlighten us, please.

"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?

What do you specifically look for to know them by their fruits?

If we are to know them by their fruits. What are the fruits you look for to discern the truth?

I think it is hard.. I think it is easier to see a false prophet by their works,(a hypocrite) than it is a christian by their works..

the reason I say this is I think many false Christians who play religion can do alot of works which appear to be good..so it would be hard to tell them from true christians.

I agree. Jesus did say that there would be tares as well as the real wheat. Tares look like wheat but they are not wheat. Jesus said to leave them alone because we might pull up a wheat thinking it is a tare and that the angels will separate them out at the end of the age.

It's difficult to distinguish a tare from wheat because of their outward appearance.

But Jesus did say we'd know some by their fruit.

Consistent hateful attitudes, for instance, or constant incorrect use of commentaries, lexicons, dictionaries, scriptures, etc. expose an inner wickedness that can't always be seen from the outside.

One can't be godly with so many consistent "mistakes".

Do children monitor their growth? Or do they just grow without a care in the world, trusting their "daddy"?

Faith as a child.

See? All I'm asking for is an explanation..... not a war. She didn't answer my question! And the other ones didn't even touch it!

An absolute perfect opportunity to lay the knowledge where it's needed, back up their beliefs before all CC, and they won't even give us an explanation of how it's done!

What is so hard in explaining this? Experience should tell us something!

No, I told you how. Don't do it. Just enjoy your walk with Jesus...in Him. In Him what is missing?

Question for you Stephen...what makes you think you can monitor your salvation experience accurately? When He says He is the One who initiated, and will complete us even until that day?

I do not like that word follow Jimbone.

The disciples followed Jesus before Holy Spirit came into the world. It was outer power or authority given to them to for the works of God to manifest. Holy Spirit was not in them. We are now led by the Spirit.

Hearing His Voice...however He speaks...and "seeing" in Spirit. Jesus prayed that we would become One with Him as He was with Father. Now we can.

for those who really care.

His question was not answered. Because no one here teaches what he asked.

The sad fact is, He can't see this.

I guess if you think God is gonna add up all the calories you burned and then reward you accordingly it might be worth considering that even taking a dump burns calories.
