mine was like that for half a year once did you hear the news? I just fried my laptop power supply! (the cable fell apart (literally, it's torn in two!) so I just put it together again, knowing the power is reduced in the transformer box part anyway, but it clearly didn't like it, cause ir started sparking !

That is good that she was calm about it... I guess we'll have to see how she handles him getting post cards from girls on another continent though.
