howdy doody,,, so ive been praying again and God revealed to me something about,,,gifts....
Gifs something you give freely and somethings you hope for...(not expect)..

Now rewards,,, A gift from God... (something you hope for and not expect..)...

Now rewards something you Give and dont expect in return,,,

Now should this stop me from hoping for salvation a gIft from God.. (a reward a gift from god..)

And is there any reason for wanting that Gift with all my heart and soul ? this is my truth its my wisdom from God,,, God has revealed this to me through prayer.. now if i want to see Gods apreciation am i on the right track,,, which makes me think of doing Good works ?

It also makes me believe that works are just as important as faith,, And ultimately its God who saves you...Now you can all me a works based believer all ya like but i know where my bread is buttered and i know the love Of God,, For i am none with out him and my Hope...God bless :)

I'm sorry about the "oh my." That was a bit arrogant on my part and I am truly sorry. My arrogance probably caused you to not even hear the rest of what I said, which I deserve.

Now, concerning what you said in that post that I replied to, do you truly believe He begins a good work in us but that salvation must be earned? Or did you just phrase what you believe in an unfortunate way?

The mindset of having to earn acceptance is a serious mental disorder that will causes nothing but heartache and pain....mostly for people close to you.

Works are works are works<---works do not save...faith saves....and maybe you should study about blasphemy because I do not attribute the works of Christ to the devil......geesh

Amazing how many fall for this....It is not that we loved him, but that he loved us and gave himself for us......How hard is it to understand that it is all JESUS...

a. He give us faith
b. He calls us
c. He convicts us
d. He enlightens us
e. He saves us
f. He justifies us
g. He seals us
h. He sanctifies us positionally
I. He unconditionally loves us
J. He cleanses us
k. His blood covers for us
l. He continually intercedes for us
m. He blesses us
n. ETC......

It is all his work of faith.....end of story!
 
And so there i was contemplating this dliema,, and it suddenly occured to me,, that God made us in his image..

Now i was just thinking of the place of work.. where promotions take place,, or a pay rise,, or a bonus.. or a reward,, or a gift,,
its all the same meaning to me,, now lets just say your the boss and you wan to reward your star employers who every day turn up on time,, are well mannered,, and wel spoken,, and also a pleasure to work with,, joyful prayful and triumphant..

So you say ya know what im going to reward you my son.. (english for saying my mate.....now where does come from this feeling ogf good will ? and this wanting to show to your star employee that he is aprroved ?...

I tel you that it comes from God,, every day my boss prayes for how to please his employees,,, and you know what......................... HE IS A SUCCES........... END OF STORY,,,:)
 
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Sanctification in our daily lives is a process of growth and maturity....it does not happen over night......!
 
Ok so he predestined,,, there no denying this my son :) But pre destionatation also has a finishing Goal... which in order to do this one must keep the faith,,, do you agree,,,, i hope so other wise your faith is a lie. no offence its just my faith is strong and i feel if i dont hold on to this truth i may as be faithless without works for not believing that i must do good works,, i have to pray for this, otherwise i may forget my instruction as i get older i dont want to get bitter...

Cussing good works,, i just dont want to take bad from good,, i cant and i wont.. end of story amego :D
 
THINK ABOUT IT -> All the bible is trying to say is [FONT=Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Droid Sans, Arial, Arial Unicode, Arial Unicode MS, sans-serif]WORKS ALONE cannot save us but that doesn't mean they are not necessary .The bible is just trying to say , we don't ONLY get saved by works but also by the undeserved kindness of God.

Not by evil works, for sure. How will they know right works from wrong works? Certain things will not be allowed beyond gates.
 
Works to do

And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good.

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.
1 Titus 3:14

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

I have thought about that a lot. It would happen overnight except that we don't believe everything He has said overnight. We are fearful and mistrustful on some of it. So the race is to keep trusting Him more and more and to not lose back ground He gives us.:)

The only work He wants from you is to believe in His Son and all He has said. This is harder than some seem to think it is. We face temptations and trials of that faith in Him and all He has said. We worry about money, provision, losing our job, even though He said God knows all we need and to just seek Him first and all these things will be provided that we need.That has been a huge area of unbelief and mistrust for me. And you know, I don't even know if I'd have come to that struggle if I remained well off, because it's said that it's an even a harder struggle in this for a rich man...

The whole concept is based upon growth and maturity....we are BORN again (spiritually) and need to grow and mature...the bible is replete with this concept....creation speaks to this...the word speaks to this.....and just like life...we grow, we mature, we make mistakes, we learn, we change etc.......
