I personally believe it would delight God if his children regularly through their prayers ask God how he is doing & feeling. Often people treat God as a genie and call upon him only for their wants / needs & have sinned. He wants a personal & intimate relationship with all of us. He sees so much evil in the world everyday I believe he would be happy to see even one of his children say, God I call upon you not to ask you for anything but to see how you are doing & how I can help bring you joy today.
