I am soooo nervous today. When I come in to the office this is the first time I am actually on my own giving the pre exams in an office I have never worked in before. The Dr feels bad because they are throwing me in just after two days of training so its up to me whether I sink or swim, but since I wear glasses and contacts it gives me man idea how the pre exams go, right? ;)
**** put on your goggles and go for it...

In a time where all I hear is people ranting about politics and how much oppression they're dealing with, it was refreshing to hear a man rapping for Jesus on the train I was on. I see the faces of someone of the people there being uncomfortable and I just laugh to myself. Why can't we get more of this and less hate. I felt so safe and warmth listening to it.

It's the windy season here in the Southwest.

I'm determining to not allow it to ruin my day. It's God's beautiful day no matter what it looks like outside.

Magenta, have you ever eaten purple pancakes? I'm wondering if you blenderize blueberries and mix them in with the batter if you'd have a deep purple color. :)

It is snowing quite hard here  They are big fluffy flakes. It snowed quite a bit yesterday but none of it stuck here right by the coast. Inland is always a different situation, though...

I have had blueberries on pancakes, but never purple pancakes. Of course I think it would be a lovely experience :D Those purple pancakes look like they were enhanced with Acai berry juice :) Blenderizing berries into a recipe is not usually a good idea, as it upsets the balance of fluids... I tried blenderized berries in a cheesecake once, and it was more like a pudding. Good thing that plate had sides to it haha. :D

I think of this song and go one better in the lyrics because Jesus Christ is in us and is with us always.

Angels may be all around us, but greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Because I've had to learn to eat healthy I've got a Vitamix that blends everything smooth. Yeah, you'd have to adjust liquids, but it might be a fun experience. The Acai berry juice sounds about right. That would probably work even better.

Yum on the cheesecake. I'm sure it still tasted great, just not the right texture.

We all here probably have some cooking/baking experiences that would have the crowds roar with laughter. :)

I love snow, but we didn't have any this year. I'm sure you experience it all the time. I grew up in the northeast and I loved it as a child growing up.

But living here in the southwest, I'm spoiled and the warmer weather here is good for my muscles and bones. I love the rain and we don't get much of that here either so I enjoy it when we do have a few sprinkles. :)

You must be so looking forward to Spring.

As you may know I live in New York and it should be cold as heck. The last two weeks the temperature has been consistently in the 50s and a couple of days close to 70 degrees. It's February. Whats going on here, it's hot today to.

We have had an awful lot more snow and cold weather this winter than we normally do. The weather man was calling for rain today :p West coast living is great because it is normally so temperate, but there can be too much rain for some people's tastes. However they seem to forget all about it when the sun shines :)

I was born and raised in Southern Ontario so I was used to lots of cold and snow as a youngster, but I have been here for forty years this summer. Some of my siblings like to go to Florida or Palm Springs for winter life. My oldest sister lives in Texas, but I have never visited her there. She lived on Grand Cayman Island for five years and I did visit her there for a month, going through Miami :D

Some years our ornamental cherry trees have already blossomed by now. Mid February would be early :) I did notice a couple of Sundays ago, that a huge magnolia tree was budding, but it can take at least a month after the buds show for them to open into flowers.

Bruh? What does that mean? You want snow every day? I don't know where they have that... maybe the south pole? :D Certainly not here...

Wow what gorgeous photos! Can you just imagine what heaven will be like? Every time I see God's creation, it always makes me think of heaven, our future home and what it will be like. One thing that I think you'll love is that we'll see lots of purple hues. :)
