Ive heard before that in Islam, there is no guarantee of salvation. That even Muhammad said that even he did not know if he would be saved. I just found this verse here in the quran just now-
Quran 66:8-
O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, "Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent."
Notice that "perhaps your lord will remove your misdeeds" part. The quran really is a total mockery of God. We are told in the Bible that if we repent, that we will be forgiven. There is no "perhaps youll be forgiven", repent and trust in Him and He will save you.
Jeremiah 3
“‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will frown on you no longer,
for I am faithful,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will not be angry forever.
13 Only acknowledge your guilt—
you have rebelled against the Lord your God,
you have scattered your favors to foreign gods
under every spreading tree,
and have not obeyed me,’”
declares the Lord.
Oh, and just for fun heres the verse directly after that quran verse above^ : p
O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.
Always a good way to remind myself that allah is not God : p
