Through the cross have we victory, or just a coat of impervious armour?

White washed tombs will never rise to new life.

It appears these faith believers believe the enemy is close at hand and needs beating up.
Rather than blessing, it is always the same accusations and fight.

We are called to love from the heart, to forgive and repent, yet somehow this has been lost.
All the verses of victory are turned into Christs victory and our failure.

So this is their battle, to say the liars claim what Christ is offering in their hearts, victory,
but this is deception and a lie, the more mature we are the more we sin and fall short.

wow who are you at war with?

If you are not a broken human, but actually a totally new creature you are unique
or possibly mad.

I understand the gap between us, which you demonstrate all the time.
God bless, Christ is our saviour and Lord.

so he is a broken human and Jesus is the fix.
what's the mechanic for?
is Jesus the mechanic? or is He the car?

Jesus is not a mechanic and our spiritual birth of incorruptible seed is not a car needing to be fixed.....in my country the mechanic fixes the car....your examples fall way short and prove your lack of understanding....!

I would say it makes a good parable to help us understand. But Jesus is not a lamb and neither can the Spirit of Christ die.

It why He said His flesh profits for nothing. A body of flesh without the spirit essence cannot work, its dead from having the work needed to give of the grace coming from it.. Just believing it could will not.

If our heart doesn't run - then get born-again - believe the gospel of your salvation and God gives us a new heart - created in righteousness and holiness. Then live from that heart that is made new in Christ.

Find out what Christ has already done for us and then His grace through faith will bring about His life in and through us to reflect who we truly are now in Him.

Religion is a very poor substitute for Christ Himself who lives in us. Religion's mindset is always trying to achieve by what they do or don't do - what Christ has already done by His finished work on the cross and resurrection and the fact that we too have died with Him and rose to newness of life.

You are a new creation - not a new evolution. It's time to repent and believe the gospel and have our minds renewed the truth of the realities of the new man in Christ now - joined as one spirit with Him for eternity
.

so we ask the mechanic to fix it.
what's the issue?

Jesus gave us advice how to live and how God regards different approaches.
He called this building a house upon a rock, something that is complete and whole.

Before we are born again our hearts do not work.
In new birth, new life is brought to our hearts.

No actually everyone who trusts into the perfect faith of Jesus and his finished work biblically is a NEW CREATION in Christ JESUS.....you should try faith...it works way better than works....!

I am as wretched as Paul was.....I fully admit I need Jesus.....and I also KNOW that based upon faith I am a NEW CREATION in Christ JESUS.....

Your guess is as good as mine....seems he is at war with the word of God.......and the conviction of the spirit.....

he is at war against anything ( including vast parts of the Bible ) that says he is not " pure washed and holy ". as he calls himself, and thinks he is.

A very accurate word that describes his ramblings....vacillating!

To be a new creation, is not a new body, with a different soul and experience.
But it sounds like this is the story you want to sell.

And the biting, try faith line, so deep and insightful like a wet sponge.

What is discouraging is so many people with such hard hearts, not the fruit of the
Holy Spirit.
