He will be even more surprised to find out that NASA has gone to great lengths to deceive even [ most of ] the people in its own organization - who believe that their work is real ( in the sense of "primary goal accomplishment"; i.e. - putting the rover on mars, for example ).
Does your cousin have [ personal ] incontrovertible proof of the existance of any satellites in space -- or, is it even remotely possible that what his work "sees" as "proof" can actually be 'faked' for his 'benefit'...?

And, although "I do not know." and / or "I don't have a clue." are acceptable answers -- I am thinking that you should be able to answer it if you are as good a physicist as you seem to claim to be and have a "full and complete" knowledge and understanding of the world we live in as you seem to claim to have.
If the Earth is a spinning ball - with equal sunlight for comparative places on the 'planet' during the cycle of the sun - why is the North Pole region so different than the South Pole region?

If your next post is not an answer to my question, I will assume that your answer is:
"I do not know. I don't have a clue. You must be correct. The Earth cannot possibly be spherical."

You define your world by your emotional convictions not facts.
You are needed to demonstrate truth does not matter to people so much as things
that confirm how they feel about the world. This compromise makes us functional
human beings, some more functional than others, so it works. It does leave us
very vulnerable to manipulation and indoctrination, which is why in the free world
we believe in a free press and open access to everything reasonable.

WHY is it so important to prove that the earth is flat?
Is it just to prove that the govt and NASA are lying about this?
WHY would they lie about this?

this is a very good one, but i personally think the sun and moon rising and setting is even better and easier to comprehend.

the canon FEN answer to the phases of the moon is that another heavenly body exists, a 'shadow object' that orbits the earth and passes in front of the moon.
but it never blocks starlight, if it exists - and it's never been detected by any means whatsoever. it doesn't exist; that's a blatant lie.
the canon answer to why the sun rises and sets is to blatantly lie about how perspective and optics works, and that's a little easier to show is false, because proving there is no dismiss any kind of measurement or photographic evidence that disproves their deception as fake, but perspective and optics are things we all see with our own eyes all day every day.
this is how the lying spirit controlling Gary says light transmission works:

I'm gonna tell you right now I was under the strong delusion that the earth was flat for about a month, I had some terrible things happen to me because of all the garbage I fed my mind. If Gary has ever known the true God he will eventually have to accept that this is a lie. The other side is that he is on here intentionally trying to spread deception. The third option is that he will be looked at as a crazy man and most likely end up hospitalized. I am just glad I knew God long before I danced with the devil, I had been deceived but God still Had his grace on me.
